I'm disappointed that the trim badge is just a sticker. I'm thinking about taking mine off. Does anyone else feel the same way?

If someone makes a 3D badge for each trim, I may consider replacing it with that.
We should try to do a bulk buy from billet badges to do a chrome script Bronco.

Yes. All badges, factory or dealer stickers shall be removed. Less is more.

Thick-ish, like a fridge magnet. And reflective.

But, yeah.

noob question here - would it not damage the car trying to remove the badges? This is jumping the gun but how do we go about removing without peeling paint or scratching?

Apply heat to loosen the adhesive, then carefully peel off. Some people use a string to get behind the sticker and sever the adhesive without scratching the paint.

I will probably be taking all the badging off mine - and possibly putting Jeep badging on (I'm serious)

Typical methods involve heat gun until the glue softens, and/or some fishing line to carefully cut through the adhesive backing. Worked great on my Toyotas over the years.

I would love a metal side badge instead of plastic or a sticker.

The current sticker reminds me of a Garfield bike reflector I got in a Frosted Flakes box when I was a kid in the 80's.

I'm planning on blacking out the wheels and maybe adding orange to the Bronco lettering, like in my avatar.

I'm hoping to measure the grille letters and print out orange vinyl decals for each one as close as possible to the cyber orange. If they don't stick or last, or if I can't get the right color of vinyl, I'll paint. I really like the way the early prototype looks.

Well if you ever get it done, I'd buy some off you for sure. (y)

All my past new vehicles I ordered I have always told them to not add dealer stickers. I'm ok with a plate frame, easy to remove!

Ugh, I hate the dealer decals and plate frames. Those are the first to go after I get a vehicle home.

I took the giant 4X4 decal off of my JK that was over the rear fender flares. I thought it was gaudy and I'm pretty sure that everyone knows that Wranglers are 4wd (yes, I know some of the early JKs could be had in 2wd only; we don't speak of those).

I added a few decals to my JK but the "Aerodynamics are overrated" was my favorite:

I have had cars ranging from a Firebird Formula with more decals than uncovered paint, to almost completely clean cars. I lean more towards the clean look now, but I think you can overdo it with debadging and can end up looking like part of the import tuner crowd. You know, those guys who think we can't identify their Jetta just because they took the VW badge off and plasti-dipped all their chrome.
