Likely do to the screw mechanism the moves the seat. Most electric motors and connections are water resistant. The gear and screw that moves the seat are exposed. If they get dirty or corrode the seat will no longer move and you may smoke the motors trying to free it.

I think they're all LED just like the headlights but the signature type is what they needed to actually answer.

I know on the concepts they have been carpet. Which is unfortunate.
I would like to know if they have fixed this for the real production vehicles.
