I have a dumb question, but I’ll ask it anyway, so be kind. I thought the stock 3.5 Raptor was around 450 hp and 5,500 lbs while the 2.3 Bronco comes in around 270 hp and 4,500 lbs and the 2.7 Bronco comes in around 310 hp and 4,500 lbs. If that’s the case, how could either Bronco (especially the 2.3) keep up with the Raptor with equally skilled drivers? Does that extra 1,000 lbs really cancel out the extra 140/180 hp?

Thanks for posting. CG looks good.

Those def are non sqautch flares. But noticed the wheels on the CG in the video have very different beauty rings on them, wth more screws than the warm alloy rings ford has shown us. Below is a pic from the video of the beadlock rim with more screw heads and then below that is actual Ford squatch wheel with the warm alloy ring (saw it live inTennessee). Wonder if that ring is a different option that fits on the squatch wheel?

Yup, makes sense. Raptor at 5500lbs is 12.2lbs/hp and 10.8lbs/lb-ft. 2.7L Bronco at 4500lbs is 14.5lbs/hp and 11.25lbs/lb-ft. You can see out of the hole they are fairly close but after 3rd gear the HP of the Raptor has a bigger impact. That race is exactly like what you would expect to happen.

That's the actual beadlock ring as opposed to the beauty ring that comes with the "beadlock capable" wheels.

Colors that looked Blah un cg (area 51/ Cactus / silver and race red) are better in Rl and the opposite for the others except Carbon G... My choices are beginning to swap around

It is 4.5" narrower than the coyote so it may fit. I have been trying to figure this one out too. I think the speculation in the 3.0 EB
Be super cool! Not only for the nostalgia but the answer to the Hemi wrangler!?

Jump to 6:40 if you want to see the tuned 0-60mph of the 2.3L Auto in a Ranger. Pretty damn impressive time. There’s also another video of the 2.3L beating the V6 Colorado even when both had 1000lbs of load. This little motor’s no joke. I’m sad I can’t get the 2.7L manual - but these videos made me feel comfortable that my 2.3L manual Badlands won’t be underpowered. Even if I lift and stick some 35”s on there.
This was filmed in my hometown
The track is about a mile from my house!

No it wouldn't because the 2.7 would be that much better. I am thinking this is the 2.3 though since we haven't seen a 2.7 yet.
Just because you haven't seen a 2.7 doesn't mean they are not in some of these . You really think they are not testing the 2.7 yet ? They haven't let anyone take pictures under the hood yet .

I totally agree!!!
Then just think... Ford and FCA are in the biggest competition now. Look to the future of TRX Ramcharger....maybe a full size Gen 7 Bronco! Think 2023 going to be and interesting year. Hemi wrangler and the warthog..maybe V8 Raptors!
