They still lose me at the point where I can't get this and a manual transmission. I assume since the mid package includes remote start, which I don't really want, it negates the entire set for compatibility with the manual because...reasons?

And in that case the 12" too, you have to have mid package
Exactly. If I want a 12" screen, I need to get an automatic transmission too. Super frustrating. There's a lot of features in the mid package that I would like to have, but I love driving a manual, which forces me into a frustrating trade-off.

I'm not sure what issues others are having, I've been able to do the high package on a BL and keep the manual. The only thing it's done was uncheck the remote start. Everything thing else was still there.

Is mid standard on badlands? If so that's why. Too pricey for me, built basically bL mid was 46500 for 2 dr bd w/ 12" 40700
A BD with Mid forces the $1595 10A to be added on.
That's a huge chunk of the price difference.

Ford has to be real careful, they are damn close to a lot of people not wanting to spend badlands money for 1 inch of tire a front locker most of will use once and same with the sway bar.
On the flip side;

That would get even more people out of the 7M.
Which Ford seems to be hell bent on making it unpopular and/or painful to select.
