Ford Bronco Bronco beer 20201107_165838

Its a double lactose iPa, at 6.1%

I was going to grab it on name alone
But I don't really spring for beer less than 9% ?

Anybody tried this?
Should i bring a six pack to the dealer next year when I go for my Bronco and pull off somewhere in the woods and crack one for the occasion (and then hand the keys to my SO so she can get us home safely lol) ?

For the beerheads, I grabbed only the best
  • Dogfish head 120min ipa
  • Troegs hop cyclone
  • Hubbard's cave triple ipa

Good find though IPAs aren't my fav. I will drink them when I'm IPA (Intoxicated Past All). At that point all drinks flow like water LOL

I enjoy my tastebuds somewhat, so I tend to skip double and triple IPAs. Regular IPAs are great though! Looking at the label, this is a 6.1% IPA which should be just fine.

Yeah good point. If the high abv IPAs aren't your jam, then this one will be right up your alley

IPAs are definitely a learned taste - I live in Vermont so I got a ton of them around. Definitely a fan of Lawson’s Sip of Sunshine, and Focal Banger (as opposed to Heady Topper). I’ve never had a lactose IPA though...

I love beer but cheap beer. Either Miller Lite or Karbach Crawford Bach or Rodeo Clown.

But lately my favorite drink has been Bumbu Rum with coconut milk. Just amazing.

I live in philly. Pennsylvania is a big brewery area. And IPAs reign king
I'll keep an eye out for that focal banger

I plan to take a road trip next year to your area with the Bronco because I hear good things about your breweries ?

I find most IPAs to be much more approachable now. That could have been my tastebuds changing too but I find brewers aren't trying to out-IPA each other now.

Its interesting how much my taste buds changed, really throughout my life. I started liking bitter things in my 20s (brussel sprouts, asparagus) and thats when the big brewery boom happened and IPAs became huge. Now in my 30s i love bitter tasting things like IPAs. Just the other day I had a craving for liver. LIVER!!!?

Took me a few years to get into IPAs. Started liking them around 30 (35 now) but liver....oh damn...liver...it may be my poor Canadian maritimer roots but I've loved liver forever. Whenever my wife is away for dinner it's liver and onions night! Like a lactose IPA I soak my liver in milk before cooking it. Takes away a bit of that bitter/metallic taste.
