Is it me, or do some photos of the BL look off - like a car on stilts. Look at the photos below. It almost seems like the BL has similarly tuned suspension parts to a sasquatch. Almost like you took a Sasquatch suspension and put 33s on it instead of 35s and were left an extra inch of wheel gap. Maybe not so much for the front, but definitely for the rear.

in order below- BL, BL, Sasquatch(red) vs BL (white), OBX sasquatch, OBX

Yes, the BL has always had the same setup as the squatch minus the 35s and whatever spacers they've mentioned standard.

oh ok so my assumption was right. Not sure how I feel about that. Looks a bit goofy especially given the extra inch of wheel gap seems more pronounced when scaled against a 33 inch tires instead of a 35 inch tire.

ill Have to look at specific heights published by ford.

This is what was originally reported. The Overlander concept changed that understanding. It has 35’s but it sits lower and does not have the “high clearance” option. It has been reported that the Sasquatch package also adds the “high clearance” option. This preproduction model does seem to sit higher, but I haves learned not to trust these builds to necessarily represent production. I love the way it looks though and am holding out hope.

Its for suspension articulation. If you stuff the fenders full of tires or lower it you're gonna tear the fenders off or ruin tires when its flexed out on the rocks.

Badlands is built for off-roading and crawling. You need that space in the wheel-wells.

If you don't like that space, then you have lots of other options from the factory...but you'll be limited where you can take your Bronco off-road. If you don't plan on off-roading much, then Badlands isn't the build.

It looks way better with more gap on that truck...it needs that much for 33s, at a minimum.

Looks like it should. I wish sasquatch had more lift.
Sasquatch needs another inch or two. Hopefully you can add an inch with stiffer springs and keep the stock shocks, but we’ll have to see how that shakes out. It does need more though.

I think the problem you are "seeing" is you are comparing it to your volvo. A car isn't designed to drive off road - which is why the tires can fill in the wheel-well more. It has tighter suspension.

Here is a subaru:

Ford Bronco Badlands wheel gap 1604881348564

It is much more capable than the Volvo for going offroad and therefore needs space for the wheel to move up and down.
