The only thing I am not crazy about is the gray MIC top which I think a local body shop can remedy that.
Plus the fact I had 3 hospital visits this year totaling well over a month. Life is too short to be waiting.....waiting....waiting.
hownmuch u figure to have local body shop fix roof colour ??

Why is it good that I buy now instead of waiting? Why??? Well, duh, might as, might as well ask why is a tree good? Why is the sunset good? Why are boobs good? Man, firecrackers, ya stick 'em in mailboxes, you drop 'em in toilets, shove 'em up bullfrogs asses.

Why am I buying a 2021... First, Ford is not a custom coach builder, they offer options but nothing that is mass produced will be an exact perfect fit for anyone's use case or style preferences. I'm comfortable enough with what's available to punch the button and sign on the dotted line for a 2021.

Second, I have an early production 84 Bronco II and I still love driving it. My parents bought it new and I got it when I got my driver's license. It is not perfect, I think the seat fabric is awful, has no AC, but in 36 years it's been towed exactly once. I also have a 96 Bronco, built 2 weeks before the line closed, and it too remains a fun drive.

My Bronco II and Bronco are key parts of good stories about the times we got home or helped someone out, and I look forward to building on those stories with my 2021 Bronco.

No guarantees that future changes will be for the better.
Ford seems to have a bad habit of decontenting their vehicles in the 2nd or 3rd year of a cycle.

I think a lot of folks up in here are forgetting. Anyone who has a 2021 reserved it, early... That makes all 2021s a rare species, especially with the late production date, I could have bought a '21 of virtually any make or model a coupla months ago...

True but this could go the other way as well. If after the initial rush goes away and sales are not where expected, prices might be re-evaluated. Look at the Explorer. They dropped prices across the whole model line for 2021.
They also did a bit of decontenting on some trims.

I see so many threads on here where people aren't happy with some aspects of the Bronco. But they are buying anyway. What is the sense of urgency to have it now over waiting?? Several things are shown as late availability. Which means it will not be available at launch. Maybe not even until late in the MY run. If those things are important to you why not wait until you can get exactly what you want??

Speaking for myself I am not happy with any current color. I mean I like some. But not to the point I will be happy with them in ten years. I want heated steering wheel. But I'm not up selling just to get it. I want a white top but it won't be available for a while.

So I've made the decision to wait it out. Maybe some cooler colors will be available next MY or the one after. Maybe they will offer a cold weather package with heated seats, steering wheel and auto start. The white top will be a option. Some other things not expected might be available.

I can say from experience that there is nothing worse than buyers remorse. Knowing what you bought wasn't exactly what you wanted. Knowing something you wanted was coming in the near future but you didn't wait for it. I think so many people are in a rush to have a Bronco, or be the first on their block to have one, that they are willing to settle.

Be happy with your purchase. If the Bronco has everything you want now, then buy now. If not consider being patient. It's not like they are only making these things for a few years.
I am with you on that, I'm not getting a $50,000 truck that's not most of what I want, I will have the color i want and the top. I'll wait for the options i want are available.

I've waited long enough.

There will always be new colors next year, a new option, an improved modification. Do these things really matter?

I'll NEVER have the chance again to be the first on the block with a new future classic like this. This may be my last gasoline powered vehicle too! Why the F would I want to wait past next summer?

I'm holding onto to a July reservation and an October reservation with Granger. How the process concerning "late availability and keeping your relative spot in line with the your time stamp" works will determine which one I end up cancelling. For me, the modular top is something I will not compromise on. I hate the gray MIC top and refuse to spend that kind of money to just live with it. And no, just painting an inferior top after delivery is not an acceptable solution. I'm fine if that decision kicks me back to a MY22. I may even get a wider color pallette to choose from.
Right on!

I love the Bronco the way it is now . Hell , ship me one of the prototypes and I'd be happy. I hear there is a whole new improved model coming out in 2024 though . They even may be offering 10k off msrp by then .

Because when you are 71 years old, you don't want to wait too long. It feels good knowing I can pick my kids up and take them trail riding, instead of them picking me up.(Of course, I know they will take over the driving?.)

I guessing the body shop will want to see the vehicle first, but I'll bet it is less than $1,800.
