Dealer claims we'll be able to submit Bronco order from our own Ford account

If your dealer makes a mistake then a new order will be rushed into prod to fix the mistake. If you make a mistake then you are screwed.

Yeah, I trust myself way, way more to make sure it is perfect; than a dealer who is entering 200 of these in a short timeframe. I care more than he does...and will make sure it is mistake free before I hit send. Then it's on him to enter correctly what I put in. I hope it works that way, but am skeptical because Ford has described it differently.

I received a call today from my dealer and they mentioned that we will be able to order our Broncos from our Ford account. They said an order button will be made available on December 7th within my/our accounts. They said I will be able to do it from home if I would like and that more information will be coming from Ford on this later this month.

I trust my new dealer as he is a straight up guy and a great communicator of information he receives from Ford. (They are not on Bronco6g)

Any other dealers here like to elaborate on this?

Maybe Ford is just throwing that possibility out to see how dealers will react?

We can set our own prices !!!

I am leery... I think I will throw on a mask and go mano a mano with the Internet Sales Manager on pricing. I bet the Ford website will limit purchase to MSRP or a predetermined price with ADM based on the dealer selection.

Sounds like one of the 1001 sneaky ways for a dealer to end up with a Bronco on their lot .

Thats what worries me about Ford right now.....yet another website to crash.

Perhaps if we don't all login and try to place our order in the first five minutes.

That’s interesting and like the idea and Ford should do that with all vehicle orders in the future. I’m still probably go to my dealer to make my order.

My dealer told me the same thing back in July but I assumed they were wrong because every piece of literature about ordering says that you have to see your dealer. ?‍

What would be nice is if we can "order" at home and then have our dealer rep look it over for any mistakes and call us to finalize. Although I suspect most of us will know just as much about the options and packages, etc. as they do!

Might think about considering a different dealer.

I actually called my dealership today just to ask a few questions and they did say I would be ordering online through Ford. I was a bit skeptical at first but now that I have seen this post it seems to be true.
