I’d like to know if the sway bar disconnect was engaged or not as well. Didn’t look to have much travelAnyone surprised how little stuff or droop is happening? Not as flexy as I would imagine. Was the sway bar disconnect not used?
Was def disconnected - they even highlighted the disconnect at one point in the montage. IFS simply physically can’t articulate muchI’d like to know if the sway bar disconnect was engaged or not as well. Didn’t look to have much travel
.....hill stop assist IS for manuals.I don’t think hill stop assist is an option on the manual
He disconnected the swaybar at the :23 mark .Probably did not disconnect the sway bar?
Pretty sure all recent Ford manuals have it...I don’t think hill stop assist is an option on the manual
I didn't see anything of the sort, its normal trail driving except maybe that one heavy throttle moment.i cant believe ford let him beat the shit out of the car like that.
Yep, didn't struggle at all. No heavy foot action needed at all. You are just going to have more wheel in air action, but with the elockers that act like spools when engaged, they have shown it will get it done.for those of you complaining , i really want reasons why. It got over everything in front of it
I'd love to be one of these guys that can go out and beat the hell out of a Bronco without a care. Because it's not their $50K rig. Where do I sign up for this job?
I never had any issues taking my Wranglers out and worrying about it getting beat up. Maybe it was because I bought them all used. I just think it will be a while until I am ready to do that to my shiny new Bronco.
Where are you seeing this? I've watched the video a few times and haven't seen any flexing.Awesome! Looking like I'll want some rocker armor for my BL, those looked weak.
I will just place this here in case someone is confused about IFS and SFA articulation, IFS will ALWAYS "hang" a tire.
You can get a long travel IFS suspension, but you are going to pay dearly for it.
Even those have their limits when compared to SFA. Length of control arm is the limiting factor.
IFS only articulates on the ends not the whole axle acting as a lever. here is a little pic I had posted in other threads to get my meaning across.
