Ford lowered the price of the WT $1895. The MIC top is $695 and the upgrade to the better (now delayed) top was $1200 on the lower trims. So, Ford is giving WT & FE folks the MIC hardtop for free. This was the right thing to do and they should be commended for it.

Get a WT with a free MIC top early or wait and pay $1895 more for a black top later.
Don't think you can wait and pay that amount for it, from factory it's only the MIC top and that's it, if it even becomes available it would be through Ford Performance Accessories and you can count on it being more expensive.

Strongly disagree here. Who’s to say what a person’s financial situation will be when they receive the vehicle. If one actually knew when they would get the vehicle it allows for a bit financial planning. I believe our taxes will be going up after this election (not to get political) so if you can’t depend on your steady income at an unknown time of arrival, how can you plan on being able to afford a $55k vehicle ?? Extra taxes is one thing, but to lose your job all together like some have during Covid, absolutely horrible!
So yeah, that does leave several people w a sense of “should I”. This is a dream car for many, especially those who haves followed the progression for years waiting for this day.
Also, don’t think it’ll hurt Granger much if you don’t follow through w the final purchase?, they get a new Bronco to sell on the lot for more $ then they were selling it to you for! Just guessing, extrapolate how you want, but if Granger has 1200 reservations, 1000 people order, only 800 purchase, pretty sure it won’t hurt their equated bronco allocation when no one in the region will come close to their volume selling! ?‍♂
There will be a lot of canceled reservations due to deposits. Just means we’ll move up the list ?.
Deposits are required and a no brainer, would be completely irresponsible for a dealer to place that many orders with no deposits.

I believe the modular top is late availability and that you will be able to select it as an option when you place your order. However, when they will actually be available is a different question entirely.

You can also go ahead and use this google sheet I made for easy math!
Granger Price Calculator
Just make a copy of it and plug and play your model and costs and it will push out a number for you!
Great job with this.
Saved me an excel file workbook creation!

I guess I could pump money into penny stocks, but that's not a very good investment with a likely return.

At that point I might as well just hit the casino and double my money at roulette.
If 100+% returns aren't a good investment then idk what it is. Im just saying, people can make money with $500. Bonds and ETFs are great, they sure are boring though.

Obviously 100+% returns are great...how many penny stocks actually hit like that though? That's my only point. You'll end up with way more misses than hits gambling on those.

Penny stocks are always a gamble. Are you insinuating that they always provide a 100%+ return?!?

Yeah, bonds and ETF's are boring. Options are where it's at, and that's coming from an equities trader.

Lol he said NIO and PLUG aren't very good investments. I strongly disagree. No where did I say penny stocks always bring a return like that, or a return whats so ever.
Options are fun but premiums are ridiculous right now and have been for a minute so Im staying out of the options game for now.
