Is it worth it?!?!? Not going to Moab or anything lol
That has to be the biggest misconception that floats around these forums. Back when I was a kid, people lifted their trucks and put 35"+ tires on them just for the looks. Never saw more than a mud hole here and there.

Is it worth it for the looks? That's what you need to answer. I've seen some pics floating around here, I think the Cyber Orange OBX was just posted up. Those tires look way too small for a Bronco. The base with 30's looks way to small. My Bronco needs a minimum of 33's on it for me to be happy. And the 35's just look that much better. Considering the 33's I'm looking at are just as wide as the 35's, they'd both handle the same in snow.

I absolutely hate M/Ts they don’t last long at all and get so damn loud. Have them on my Jeep JL Moab now. I have always used Goodyear Duratracs on my Jeeps. I e had 33’s and 35’s my fave tire!
Yeah I'm hesitant with the M/Ts. I'm leaning more towards the 33s with the optional wheel. If it looks anemic, I'll swap the wheels out later for 34 A/Ts or R/Ts. Without the extra Squatch height, I'm betting 34 will be the sweet spot. Just unsure about any necessary re-gearing or speedo calibration as I've gotten different answers from different people. If you plan on going this route or a similar route, you might wanna get the 4.7 gearing since it's a free upgrade.

My thoughts on that (based on what I've read here, and also based on a Jeep running 33's on 3.23 gears)...you'll want something better than the stock gears. If going bigger tires, get the 4.27's at least. And yes, the 4.70's that come with Squatch are preferable. Sadly, back in the old days, running a V8 hooked to a 4 speed auto, gearing didn't matter all that much back then. But these newer, tinier motors hooked up to 10 speeds seem to rely on gearing just as much as everything else.

Anyone who runs bigger tires should expect to take a hit with MPG's as it is. A little less with the upgraded gears. And if you plan on towing at all, definitely swap the gears. Cheaper to do straight from Ford as opposed to 2 years down the road.

My thoughts on the last few posts.

If you aren't wheeling it, the front locker/disconnect will be useless(Except for resale). Looks can be resolved with the mystery ford 2" lift and 33's. I think a BD with ford 2" and 33's would be a very capable machine and give the "Look". As for a aggressive tire without the noise, I had good luck with my s/t Maxx on my jku.

As for Brewster it seems there's a nice crowd brewing. hehe

@EvlNvrDys thanks for your efforts with Ditschman. I am trying one last time with them to see if I can get ANY information from them. I really would rather stay there because of how close they are to me, it would just be so much easier.

With that being said, the way Brewster is being so helpful and with deal they are offering I am very close to switching. I am only getting a Base model, so the difference between Invoice and MSRP isn't as steep but it is still probably worth it.

All they are Not Mud Terrain - Maximum Traction.... essentially an AT tire
lots of strings on here
and no - nobody knows why GY would use ""M/T"

Ditschman is literally 20 minutes from my house. Yes they would've been much closer for me as well. I'm still caught between a Base Squatch and a Big Bend. No matter how I slice it, I'd be saving upwards of $1,000 going with the invoice deal. When I sat there Saturday and 'almost' for a second thought the GSM was saying they didn't charge D&D I thought, that's $1,500 in savings right there. But as best I could tell, that was just a misunderstanding. Even if he would've said something like we'll give you 50% of the difference between MSRP & Invoice I would've considered it. Something... Anything.

Anyways, good luck with them. Let us know if you can get anything out of them. But I'd suggest to skip the Bronco Specialist, even when someone speaks to him, it doesn't seem all that worthwhile. I'd say shoot for the GSM (Chris Messina), or go up to the GM (Jim O'Brien).

Hell when I made the switch today I was given a PCO certificate number (Private Cash Offer), that my dealer can look up and decide if they want to accept it or not. Not 100% sure how it works, or how I was even eligible (though I did have one a few years back that I gave my kid to buy his Focus ST with... $1,000).

I’m going with a base model as well. Although the savings aren’t as big as some of the higher end models, switching to Brewster would save us from any possible dealer markup/hidden fees. I reserved on 7/13 and have yet to hear anything from my dealer 3 miles down the road. I don’t have much trust in most dealers so it’s great having a dealer that has been as transparent as Brewster. Still need to stop procrastinating and make the actual switch.

I have a 7/14 reservation, never heard from my first dealer AT ALL. Switched to my current dealer because I have bought from them before and have had very little, unclear communication. I agree with you 100% that while we won't save a ton of money, its just great to see how transparent Brewster is.

For those of you that are going to be picking up at Brewster from points south/southwest....I'm happy to throw a brisket on the smoker in the morning and give you guys a good stopping off point on the way back home...since I'm going with late availability options it would be a good "fix" for me to get some Bronco viewing time. Yeah - burnt ends too!

So I fired off a quick email to Chris Messina (Ditschman/Flemington Ford) today. Decided to ask about wheel & tire swaps, any discounts for trading in stock wheel/tire for upgraded wheel/tire.

Received a response from Mike Barone, their Bronco Specialist. His response was:

"Changing wheels and tires can of course be done by request. At this point we don't have any information on any credits. Once the Bronco is here and we have more information on pricing we can offer more information on the subject."

Like I said before, I'm not going to bash them for the stance they take. But at this point, I'm so tired of hearing almost every dealer say... when we have pricing information.....offer more.....

Well guess what? Time is running out. Dealers like Brewster, Winner Ford, Bergey's, Granger, Stevens and handful of others have come forward to offer deals. So why is it all these other dealers say "wait til we get pricing, then we'll earn your business"?? Are you kidding me? We are all here chomping at the bit and yet most dealers could care less.

So as I've said in the past, everyone is entitled to choose the deal that fits them the best. Whether it be price, location, service, allocation, whatever matters to you. I may try to reach out to a few more dealers in the coming weeks, but at this point in time I'm satisfied with the choice I made.

And with all that said (**edited because I'm being nice), @cverde I've posed this question a few times and maybe I haven't seen the answer, but nonetheless I'll post it again, Will Brewster be able to offer a discount/credit if we want to upgrade our tire/wheel package? This literally means more business/money for the dealership, otherwise I'll go to my local shop and get the combo I want. Either way doesn't matter too much to me, other than the fact that I'd like to know before I place my order.

I did a Turkey in my Bradley electric last year - came out fantastic! Haven't tried one on my Akorn yet but have done plenty of pork shoulders and a couple briskets.

Bought my Traeger during quarantine. Figure I got nothing but time... Been smoking things all summer/fall. Love it. Seeing that smoke ring feels like such an accomplishment.

I've joked with my neighbor one of the 200 Bronco accessories better be a Traeger carrier. ?
