I had to recreate your spreadsheet, It looks like you have an error in your X-Plan discount. If you want, send me your spreadsheet by PM and I will look at it.

It is the difference from trim to trim showing the step increase in cost to move between different trim levels.

Is this correct? Seems like there's not much mark-up on these? I was figuring $3k-$4k difference between Invoice and MSRP. According to this, only $1670. About 3%.

InvoiceMSRP
Bandlands 2Dr$40,621$42,095
17" wheels$935$995
Mid Package$1,405$1,495
Tow Package$559$595
Floor liners$150$160
Destination$1495$1495
TOTAL$45,165$46,835
Markup$1,670

Could you add back the 2k under invoice pricing for the Granger deal?

For the 2 door Badlands example the difference between the MSRP price of $42,095 of and the Invoice price of $40,621 is $1,474 with no additional options, this is shown in the column titled "M/I Spread"

You're correct the spread is thin but it seems like auto manufacturers have been lowering the spread more and more over the last 20 years as with most consumers only feel they got a great deal if they got close to invoice pricing. To work around this "problem" for the industry, manufacturers moved more of the profit into the holdback and monthly performance bonuses so the dealers still see profit.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a dealer, salesperson or have any affiliation with them or Ford. I'm an engineer who put this spreadsheet together for my own use, I hope you find it useful.

Seems like Ford is baking certain things into the starting price, instead of considering them “options or accessories”. Changes the whole invoice lists, doesn’t it?

I think Ford is playing a lot of games right now with pricing, until the dust settles we will not know. Some of it is packaging to force you to a higher trim.

As far as invoice lists, I'm not sure what you are referring to, please explain more?

The invoice prices that are listed in this thread. I know they aren’t official, but they have been extremely helpful when pricing out potential builds.

Ah, got it, yes the invoice prices are official for the July 13th Reveal pricing.

Once ordering opens I should be able to get and update from one of the people in the know.

I'm particularly curious as to how 4dr base invoice pricing may change given MSRP has been increased with the recent B&P updates.

I've been following the price changes but Ford is still all over the map with final changes. Hopefully we get some final pricing in a week or two. When one of our dealer friends get me the information I will update the spreadsheet.
