My salesman was lucky enough to get his hands on a four door Black Diamond in Shadow Black today and he sent me these pictures. Nothing too crazy, but you get a good side view with stock wheels and tires as well as a decent look at the standard instrument panel and the 8" screen. It also looks like this one has the Mid Package because it has heated seats. He didn't get a lot of info, but he got to drive it and said it felt very solid compared to the Ranger.

I am assuming the top is so light in color because it's more preproduction shenanigans, so I wouldn't count on this being the final color.

Love the BD!

let’s hope that top is “preproduction “
But it may not be
Sad we don’t know that yet and are expected to start placing orders in 2 weeks

Yeah, I spoke with my dealer the other day and he doesn't think they will be ready to place orders on the 7th. He said it's more likely that Ford finally gives them the ordering info by then and if they are only allowed to have certain reservation holders order, that would be when either they or Ford will reach out to them about ordering.

Which dealer? My guy is supposed to be on the lookout for me to at least get a look at the training vehicle when it comes in. Assuming that was an engineers vehicle? Thanks for the pics, definitely need 33” tires I think (at least on the 4dr).

Great work! I’ll take all the BD pics I can get. Has anyone noticed a difference between this instrument cluster and the BL cluster?

@Philly was there anything particularly over or underwhelming?
I didn't get to see it in person. I was lucky enough to have my salesman send me these. I asked if I could swing by and see it, but it was already off the lot. This looks way better than the Cyber Orange Outer Banks I saw on the road a while back. The rake was about the same and the suspension looks about the same so I doubt there is much to change there, but I think the black flares and steelies do it for me over the OBX setup.
