Offroad equipment has vinyl, it gets hot. My Ranger had vinyl before vinyl was cool, it got hot too.

I take the cushion off my tractor and just sit on the steel pan seat in the summer.
It's been said over and over that this is not that type of vinyl .

no power seats with any badlands period - in multiple threads and b&p. Ford had said because of "washout" interior can't have the power seats, would mess up wiring in the long term. Still not sure why leather option is so expensive for a manual seat configuration....

This is incorrect.

4-door badlands, with leather, gets you power seats, but carpeted interior.

It’s amazing how much misinformation gets passed off as fact on this forum.

I love the orange stitching. I'm getting CG. But I see it clashing with other paint.

I think that orange actually goes really well with Cactus Gray. Look at some YouTube vids of the 2021 Mustang Mach 1, one of the available colors is Fighter Jet gray(reported to be same as Cactus) there are lots of orange accents both inside and outside the car. Looks good to me.

Two more! If you zoom in it’s easy to tell the difference.

MGV - there’s actually a subtle pattern to it up close.

Leather - the leather has a pebble grain to it

Interesting that they discovered a vinyl that is that different. I would have guessed the stuff they cover boat seats with would have been similar to what the cover tractor seats with as they both sit out in the elements for extended periods of time. It sure feels similar too.

Old truck seats were a thinner flimsier material.

It’s all freaking hot in the summer.

Typically ford would use a split leather, compare it to a higher series Lincoln and you'll see a difference between top and split leather.

The unanswered question is where power seats and carpet come in. Not sure if there are power seats at all in badlands... or if they are paired with leather.

I will say that vinyl can get a bit sticky, no vented seats in the bronco config. I guess take the doors off and wear linen.
A friend of mine has a Mercedes. The leather in that thing puts all other automotive leather Ford uses to shame.
