Clinging on. Lease extension expires end of August. Have a very late Day 1 ressie. I was initially thinking I’d be safe, thinking July slips to mid August. I really don’t think I’d be getting this until October/November. Whenever they use a season to pinpoint timing it’s usually to frame around the last week of the season, otherwise they would say the month. Summer to them probably means second week of September. Absolute first deliveries probably mid September with Day 1/2 reservations being from late September into early November.
If you have an order placed and finance through Ford Credit, you can extend the lease month-to-month until you take delivery. I have an after midnight day 1 rez with lease that expires end of August as well. I would imagine there weren't a ton(relatively speaking) of day 1 rez's actually placed with the site being mostly unusable for a few hours after launch.

Current lease is on a Subaru. I take it there is nothing offered from Ford in that scenario. Maybe I could not extend it, and get a new Ford lease in March with some type of option to simply get out of it when the Bronco is ready? But even then it’s not worth it given the taxes on the lease

Any bets that Toyota finally makes a new 4Runner and delivers them before the Bronco actually shows up? ?
Maybe Toyota gets wise and makes it with a removable top and doors. I’m just rolling with the punches at this point.
The problem with the 4Runner and Lexus GX is they are 10 year old designs and people won't stop buying them! Never a fan of the 4Runner, but I did look at the GX earlier this year and it is just dated. No apple play and the dang thing still has a CD player! If they redesign these two (same platform and factory) I think they would get even more looks...

I went through this agonizing process with the C8 corvette unti I just could not take it anymore and my interest switched to the Bronco. So I literLly will be waiting 2 yrs for a new ride if I stick this out. Please dont pull my chain....the Jeep with the V8 is coming and I bet I could get it in Army Green.
Ford Bronco Breaking news: January ordering, Summer delivery, Black First Edition interior, no manual Sasquatch & more 1607173435161
Come on people ....no one is intentionally pulling chains. It’s the world we live in now thanks to Covid. They are doing their best to get the trucks to us. You either love the Bronco enough to wait it out or you don’t. I for one have been waiting for this for a long time. And will continue till it’s in my driveway.

Ahhh. Yeah, at that point you might be better off renting something for a couple months to fill the gap or as needed if you're working from home.

Bronco Specialists & Dealer Principals,
...

Initial 21MY dealer allocation forecasts will now be provided in early January (ahead of the order bank open).

...
So is this where Granger finds out they're only getting 15 Broncos a month? -- Not being a hater - I hope they get one for every reservation they have -- this is where the rubber hits the road and could get 'interesting'...

This won't be as useful as it was planned to be. It'll be an estimate of how many you'll get based on everyone converting every reservation (prior to ~ Sep 18th). I don't see them doing monthly, but I think a quarterly estimate.

Original plan was great, it could still change if production went up or down. Other thing is conversion rate, if you converted all and another dealer lost 1/2, you might go up in allocation on the final roll. Big plus I saw in it was as I converted orders I could tell the buyers that " Your're number X on my list, first quarter I have X+Y allocation so as long as commodities aren't an issue you should get built that quarter. It could still fluctuate based on total number of reservation so those on the edge I'd warn that they could be late that quarter or early the next.

Now that they opened up dealer swaps to the end of reservations it makes this info much less useful if the dealers going to go in reservation order. I could tell the previous customer example he was in first quarter, then 3 reservations move in ahead of his and now he's into second. I read one dealer was going to put all moved in reservations (that moved after order bank opens) after existing reservations and that might be a good solution to allow dealers to still give an idea of delivery when ordering.

Does this mean there is a chance that mod tops will be available? That was originally a supply problem and this gives them more time.
I would like to know this as well!!!

Agreed. With everything going on in the world, colors, trims, and dates really don't mean that much. Lets remember to count our blessings.

You can go Badlands and get most of Mansquatch standard, but you get BLESSED with vinyl seats and a higher price tag.
Fixed it for you?

I agree if mansquatch was MY21 I would most likely get it with lower model but since it’s not I did what Ford wanted and most likely will go BL to get my MY21.
