1. This is hideous (where’s my State Farm meme) Get a Ranger
2. The Sportrack was sweet, still not a truck
3. If bronco makes a version to compete with the Gladiator, they’re idiots. No one is buying the Gladiator anyway
4. An SUV is NOT a truck. Drives me nuts when cidiots call their full size suv‘s trucks.
5. Just because it has a bed on it doesn't make it a truck(Hey El Camino)

F-150s aren't trucks either...

Who cares what it's called for marketing.
People can easily argue:
Bed = Truck
Body on frame = Truck
Its all semantics - why get worked up over something so unimportant

* It's gonna look GREAT - with correct wheels / tires / stance - as will the BSport

2. The Sportrack was sweet, still not a truck
* Who cares - totally unrelated - different size class

3. If bronco makes a version to compete with the Gladiator, they’re idiots. No one is buying the Gladiator anyway
* I see them around often. This is a Bronco Sport Truck - not a Full Size Bronco - so has zero to do with the Gladiator

4. An SUV is NOT a truck. Drives me nuts when cidiots call their full size suv‘s trucks.
* Again - unrelated, this is not an SUV

5. Just because it has a bed on it doesn't make it a truck(Hey El Camino)
* To you - to others, it does.

If we really want to get worked up over semantics ask people the definition of a sports car lol

With a unibody truck, it should have a conversion option that lengthens the bed. The Avalanche conversion is outstanding. They should do something similar with the Maverick.

I would also like to see a bed extender (on the tailgate side). 95% of the time you don't need it, but having the ability to put a bed extender would make the truck much more usable.

You and I wouldn't get along. Ha. I call nearly everything that isn't a car a truck. I called my Sprinter van a truck most of the time. My 4Runner...truck. Escape....truck. Pretty sure it's a regional thing. Everyone in the area I grew up in does the same.

Also....we call all 4 wheelers bikes and all snowmobiles are Ski-doos no matter what brand they are.

No reason to call people idiots just because the words they use are different than the words you use.

Relax....it's just a truck.

And when I say bed extender, I mean one that will add 1.5 to 2 ft to the bed...meaning not just a flip bed extender with the tailgate down. I could be a collapsable bed made from lightweight materials (fiberglass, PAI, Ultem, PEEK, PPS, Nylon). A real extender.

You would actually bolt it on to the truck.

It could even have lights that are integrated (plug and play) so it become a real extender.

I think its based on Market demand. Very few want a true 2 door truck except for commercial fleets.
And guys like me lol. 50, single, no kids, and fly fishes 9 months a year. ?
There's not too many of us but we have a powerful lobby lol.
