That's my goal. Make the bronco my daily driver, maintaining it and keeping up the factory warranty until it's coolness has started to wear off, then start modding/upgrading to make it exciting again.I’d be more inclined to do a built 2.3, supporting mods and a bigger turbo, beefier 7mt transmission and make 500 whp. This already exists in the Mustang, Focus, 2.3 world. Once you start swapping motors like this, the car becomes a Hobby, not an economical, reliable form of transportation. It would certainly be fun though!
I can't justify modding a brand new vehicle. 150,000 miles/10 years later... Sure. By that point I'll probably be daily driving some kind of electric vehicle and the bronco will be a hobby/Sunday driver.
