But the mustang has them. And the Defender 90. And just about any other 2 door costing $40k+.

Someone mentioned in another thread they thought it was because it would take 5 seconds to bring the seat forward to let folks in and out the back seat each time. I sure hope that wasn't the reason. To inconvenience driver's comfort 100% of the time for the 5% of the time you may have a back seat passenger makes no sense.

Jeeps don't have them either. For the trailblazing vehicle the Bronco is, I hope Ford didn't do it just because jeep did it.

I see your point but I disagree. I prefer manual seat adjust in the 2 door for the exact reason you described. Besides, once I set it manually it's not changing barely ever

Same here - I'm the only driver, so set it and forget it.

Unless they're memory seats I really don't care if they're auto or manual.

I gather the reason being that having to exit in an emergency, a manual seat would be quicker. I don't know this for fact though.

At any rate, consider cancelling your reservation, be a real shame going through life as an annoyed Bronco owner.

I think the reasons are (a) easier and quicker to move the seat forward for rear passenger ingress/egress and (b) water fording. Get the electric seat drive flooded and there is a headache no one wants.

my wife is super short and this is one of the main reasons we are stuck on a 4 door with leather. So she can have power seats. My F150 didnt and she hated driving it.

I have two BMWs with memory seats. I find over time the memory position "drifts" and gets out of position and I need to reset it. PIA in my opinion. I'll take a manual adjustment seat any day over electric. Less components to break and diagnose.

I loathe power seats. So annoying. You can never get them in the same spot again after adjusting them. Manual is where it’s at.

I got the Recaro seats in my car that aren't powered and it's not a big deal. I'm the only one who ever drives it and may have adjusted them once or twice in the two almost three years I've owned the car. Even if I did have to move it, it would take all of a minute to get it back where I want it.

Saying that non-powered seats sacrifice the comfort of the driver 100% of the time is a bit dramatic.

I have manual seats on my rubicon. I prefer them to electric for the reason mentioned above.

One additional reason not mentioned is weight savings. It all adds up.

Hmm. Hopefully they at least slide forward when someone gets in the back. From what I remember with my mustang they just tilted forward and you crawl in(down). BUT if it’s high off the ground that might not be possible anymore.

My wife’s Audi has power seats. My Wrangler doesn’t. She’s petite. I am 6’-2”. It takes forever for the power seat to adjust back and forth, and a second for the manual one.

I have come to prefer manual seats for this reason.
