I think AMB will stay, and one of the other blues will go. Could drop a red or Cactus Gray as well.

There will definitely be a green in the new mix.
That could very well be. AMB is in the same family as Gard Green, Magma Red, and Kodiak. They are usually around only for one MY and then gone the next, but it could stay I guess. I think Cactus will hang around like Lithium gray did for a bit especially because the Mustang and Ranger will have it. Race Red could drop too, it has been around since 2015 I think....its is an "old" color.

Colors that are NEVER going away(in one name or another):
  • Oxford White
  • Iconic Silver
  • Carbonized Gray
  • Race Red
  • Rapid Red
Colors that will change, but unlikely for MY22:
  • Area 51
  • Cactus Gray
Colors that will definitely change for MY22:
  • Cyber Orange
My thoughts on Antimatter Blue? It is one of those colors Ford is using to tie brands/vehicles together. It's used on big boy trucks, so Ford wants Ranger buyers to feel like part of the Ford Truck family by having the same color option. Bronco Sport buyers have real Bronco color options too. All despite being made in different plants. So, I think it will definitely be available for the Ranger in MY22 which could make it available for the Bronco despite my prediction of a low take rate.

I like a darker Orange like Nissans Blaze Metallic

I think the bronze oranges have run their course through humanity. I hope. It will always be sick dog poop orange to me.

Insider here awhile back said Ford's Guard Green would allegedly be available for MY 22.
My 7/14 reservation is already pushed out to my22 because of mansquatch. I wasn't exactly thrilled with the colored color options. Would much rather see different shades of orange and blue. The race and rapid reds look great. But we need a couple greens in there. All these grey's, white/black, and half-colors are very meh to me. Mattes and metallics over flats and grays!
I'm pleasantly surprised that I'm not the only one calling them "half-colors". I feel that Guard Green is one of those as well. I would love the Dark Highland Green from the Bullitt.

Anyone still reading? No? It's ok. I like hearing myself talk too.

My Predictions:
  • I will be shocked if they Man-Squatch up and give us a real green.
  • Kodiak Brown is unlikely, but someone at Ford could make a case for it if it does well on the Sport.
  • New "pop" color? Of all the things Ford took from the Jeep template exciting colors was not one of them. It's not going to be anything I'd be interested in buying.
  • Heritage Editions: I think there will be two colors available for this package; one normal color and the "pop" color. It will be a white top and some vinyl stripes/graphics. I doubt it will get all of the white accents like the teaser vehicle.

so technically at the moment everyone is ordering a MY21 no matter what up until 3/17 with the understanding whatever options / shortages occur, your MY21 mayhave to be converted to a MY22. When that happens you will most likely get an updated purchase / sale agreement. All it does is keep your MY21 in unscheduled status until Ford switches over, then it will trigger.

Edit: Also if something is not on the order guide at the time of the order, but shows up later, you can have a change order up until a VIN is generated which is at scheduled, but that also can trigger your order to stay in MY21 unscheduled state.
How is Mansquatch being handled? You think that will be on the 21 order sheet even though it’s a 22?

Green.....!

FD6C372D-96BA-418B-8DB8-5F49591E69C4.jpeg
My ranking
1. Explorer green by miles. Reminds me of grabber lime
2. Cactus green. Reminds me of Jade emerald from my 3rd gen 4runner
3. Caribbean turquoise. That's a pretty color
4. Lime gold
5. Lunar green

The boxwood swab looks washed out and grey like a51 does. Sure it looks better in the sun. But the swab looks terrible

Thought that price was determined and agreed upon at time of conversion.
I think its a bit fuzzy, I would say at conversion you have an agreed price, but whether it stays or not who knows

At the moment I could only speculate on it, I think the last I saw that option was going to be on the dealer order guide and it would just stay unscheduled.

I think the colors in danger of being cut is AMB, CO, and 51.

Went and looked at a AMB F-150 this weekend. Dealer had a Kona Blue Mustang on the lot and my first words to my wife was that was the color I really wanted.

Also saw what I think was the Guard Grey and wouldn't mind that as well.

Know it's an unpopular opinion, but the color I was not impressed with was VB.

I wish they would include 3 pop colors per model year. The only two this year were vb and co. Race red pretty close, but not much different from many other red cars out there. I drove a champagne color car years ago, I considered brown. Only bought it because it was a brand new 5speed under 10k. Any other color brought the price up 6k more. So ever since, it's been my personal discriminant view that you don't choose brown, they give you brown. Matte browns are macho af though so that's the only condition where I would change my tune about brown

Any chance the MY '22 colors will be known before delivery date of first day orders? Some of us will cancel our order if we can get our preferred color and/or a white top. As much as I want to drive a new Bronco a/s/a/p, I'd be willing to wait for yellow or green with a white top. Ford, WTF??

Ford Bronco Levine: new Bronco colors coming in 2022 1609952943198
I am with you on the erking. Its dumb to say but I am sick of buying new cars and want something I can settle down with and be happy for 15 years until I retire. I know I am going to kick myself for not going with a MY2022 because it will have the options I want and probably some kinks worked out. I am a right out the gate reservation and would give anything for Ford to say we can switch our reservation to 2022 and be first in line to order. I am going to put a MOD top and tailgate option, if its available, on my BD to get me pushed as far as I can towards 2022. But I think my res is to high on the list and I will still be a 2021.

no it wont, but Ford will give you the option out.
In my experience with Ford, while waiting for my 2015 F-150 to be built, the price of the 36 gallon tank doubled from $199 to $399 before I took delivery.
They honored the $199 price.

If reservation holders were waiting for a reason to jump off the ledge, i think this could be it. I am not 100% sold on the MY21 Colors. So possible game plan might be to throw on the Black color hard top for late delivery and wait for the colors to be announced. I text my dealer to see if he has heard about getting the mid price list for January with the Website contradictory configurator in MARCH. I'm sure the dealers are just as in the dark as the rest of us, considering history and the source.

I'm pretty early myself! It's def something to think about. My plan was always was to get what I can get now and be happy! Now I'm just not sure! We need more information now!! I need all the information they can give us. I'm def not putting my order in fast now. I'll hold off till close to the March cut off just for the hope Ford will lay it all out for us once and for all!!
