I may be crazy, but I have seemingly looked at a million VB and LB vehicles the past few months and that looks just like velocity blue in the factory lighting. You sure you got the color right? LB is normally much darker. Looks good regardless.

I just don't see much difference between VB and LB. It is very slight.

Based on the cans I saw in Towsend, they are quite different colors. LB is a nice rich "real" blue to me whereas VB seems artificial and something I'd tire of after 6 months. I'd be all over LB if it didn't take another $25k to get that option.

I've tried to get Ford to answer about the rear armor (gas tank) multiple times. They have always been vague and the pre-production pictures have varied. The engine/trans midplate is upgraded on BD/BL/FE (and WT with $395 upgrade), but they have never been clear if the all the plates are upgraded.

The sloppy welds or silicone on the rear plate make me wonder if this is just a pre-production mock-up?

Good point Jacob. Both colors can be really tricky depending on the lighting. You can see the difference in the picture of my LB Ranger. Lighter in the sun because of the metallic, and darker where the sun don't shine.........ya, I just read that last line myself. lol

The really big news here is that Lightning Blue somehow managed to get its own emoji.

Why can't the other colors get their own special icons?
