Same here. Small town, small dealership so they aren't worried about selling something 6 to 8 months from now. They want to sell what's on the lot.

Everyone is giving you a good ole rash of crap, but thanks for sharing the info. The difference between your post and others is that you backed it up with some evidence. To the forums point, Levine is worthless as an ejection seat on a helicopter.

We're not giving the OP a ration. It is just an institutionalized reaction to "soon", "very soon" or other such derivatives.

My dealer emailed me last night and said they haven't heard anything from Ford or there rep. It really doesn't matter, as long as it's by March, but it might make my brain hurt less if my order was in. The new Ranger Tremor is a really good option if my bronco can't get here before I need a new vehicle!

Same here. I asked if the had heard anything official last week and still nothing.

Being able to order is great... whenever that happens, but when are they going to be delivered is the real question. A global chip shortage is starting to shut down production plants and the projection is for it to get worse. If it's not one thing it's another.

Well I know how much we all love to debate about Mike Levine. I know we should take everything he says with a grain of salt. LOL

But here is what he said to me this morning in regards to bronco ordering. He was pretty slick by responding to me at first by saying "You can place one today with your local Ford dealer" I know he was talking about the Ranger.

But when I asked about Bronco....he said Very soon. Maybe January 19th isn't a fairytale...lets hope?

see that is not fare, he is being very ambiguous.
Does he mean:

- By Very soon, as it gets closer it will happen sooner

-Around very soon, which could be before or after

-At very soon, which implies exactly at soon

-During very soon, which gives us a time frame within the soones

So you go back to your buddy and ask him WHICH IS IT! ?

OK I am still hanging in here, but man this feels like the girl in high school that keeps leading you on and you keep following her everywhere.
Whatever happened to honesty, integrity, proper project planning, and setting realistic expectations?
