Those are metal? I always thought they were just painted plastic.
I'm not sure. They just say "body colored flares" in the brochure. They're certainly different material than the black flares that you can clearly see are textured. The Painted one's are glossy.

I used to have a calypso green Ranger. I always got lots of compliments on it. This time around darker green is more what I’m interested in. The highland green sounds good, is that the color of the Bullitt Mustangs?
Yes - but Ford always said that it would only offer the DHG for the Mustang Bullitt edition.

Right, but they're just a painted plastic, not metal.

That is why I plan to Line-X my Bronco. Basically makes it scratch resistant.
Me too I've always wanted this. I don't care for flashy, I just wanna not worry about it. Or if someone keys it like always happens, that's not $1000 it's $1 to respray it

I’ve never had a vehicle keyed before.

Aren't they canning Bullitt and replacing it with the Mach 1?

Referring to DHG being exclusive to the Bullitt and not availabe to other models - which the poster had asked about.

Sky blue, white top, white flares....just like my 1970 was originally and will be again after restoration.
