I was told something earlier that is going to cause the whining to be even worse tbh. Doesn’t bother me but this forum is going to be filled with REEEEEE when this certain thing is announced.

Luckily we’re going to get a lot of new members here that won’t give a shit.
If it had to do with time frame.... No biggie. If it has to do with feature missing or being lame, that really sucks.

We already know it won't be SFA...Can't think of too many things that would warrant full-on REEEEEEEE...

Let's see...
-Pushed to 2022
-Only 4 banger, not even a V6
-4 banger or hybrid
-No rear locker, only electronic traction like Toyota
-AWD, not 4WD
-bespoke suspension that cannot be lifted without great cost
-No full off-road variant

I'll think of some more later lol

We're waiting until 2022 to drive one? Working with a several month delay already I wouldn't be surprised

It’s nothing that I haven’t said before. I actually talked about it all the way back in October 2018 on another forum. Basically if your ideal Bronco has qualities similar to a JL Sport... go buy the JL.

Well, I’ll just start guessing:
No manual transmission.
4 cylinder only.
Bronco Brand is going to have some seriously heinous vehicles in it. I’m guessing one will be a rebadged Ecosport, and worse models! Also, Focus will be rebranded as a Bronco.
2023 Raptor Bronco cancelled.
Real Bronco delayed until 2022.
Bronco Sport still on schedule.
Ford being bought by VW and everything good being cancelled.
Chinese buying Ford. Ugh.
Every new Bronco will have coronavirus.

The Coronavirus package will only be available in PEP 502A and above.

So price is what I am getting out of this comment. Or there is no lower end on the Bronco?

So CrispyKC leaving us might be a GOOOD thing. He’s a dealer. In the email he got this morning he might have had a “non disclosure agreement”.

Damn it Ford, this sarcastic post didn't age well!
I'm going out on a limb and saying the Bronco WILL be revealed between June 1st and June 20th. Again, just a wild guess. ??
This is a big disappointment, COVID or not, i feel lied to by Ford. Not a good image.

So this actually goes WAAY back. I met a guy at the Talking Stick casino who was an engineer at Ford. He was a bit talkative, but wasn’t on the Bronco project specifically. (He did autonomous vehicles stuff I don’t remember what exactly.)

When I asked him about Bronco he had seen prototypes but wouldn’t divulge much. What he did say is Bronco would be a part of the Ford performance lineup through and through, along with the implications that come from that. Now I think that may be changing since the whole “Icon” group has come around, but those implications remain in the Bronco’s design intent. This is a special vehicle.

This is definitely the most plausible reason for him leaving. Either someone at Ford told him to get off or he's just being careful now that the reveal is so close. People have been complaining on here for as long as I've been lurking around. I doubt he's leaving now because people are complaining. I'm sure he'll still be lurking around here watching down on us.

So we're now looking at lower production (higher priced) vs sales volume?
