The only possible catch is that there was instruction to convert for future allocation and yet "hold" for 22 which goes against the allocation percentage. So confusing.
Yeah... or since it doesn’t factor into allocation formulation, they’re holding off on taking post Sept 18 reservation orders right now, and will do those soon but after the rush is over?

Seems counterintuitive

What I don't get is this whole allocations period. There shouldn't be one. FORD knows when you made your reservation (first come first served, parts allowing) and they know which dealer you have.

So why would Ford just not "allocate" 21s to the first 30% of reservation holders regardless of which dealer they were at.

Basically, what does a dealers size have to do with it? It's like saying I made a reservation at a restaurant but what type of car I used to drive there makes a difference as to what night I get to eat.

Your statement is based on the assumption that dealers have comparable conversion ratios (which is part of the formula for final allocations).

Dealer A has 100 reservations and all 100 convert to an order
Dealer B has 100 reservations and 10 convert to an order

They should both get 30% of their initial reservations??

Jokker...I think you have finally broken the code; your equation could be the Rosetta Stone to deciphering Ford's secrets

Blame the transition of power in the CEO position. Originally, this was supposed to go the way we were led to believe. When Hackett was replaced by Farley, there was a cave to the dealers who didn't think ahead, like Granger and Stephens did. The crying and gnashing of teeth by the big market dealers who got accustomed to the easy money ADMs on the likes of the Ford GT, GT500, and Raptor got Farley to change the rules.

Customers be damned...

Because of commodity restrictions. Not because Fords being a big meanie.

Should they exist? Doesn't matter. They do.

Call 800-334-4375 and ask for a Bronco specialist. Ask them for your actual time of reservation, not just the date. They can tell you.

Time stamp may be in UTC, which is EST+4. Did you think you made it at ~9:30am EST?

Was it more like 9:30 am EDT? All reservations are logged in at UTC time, not your local time. 1:30 pm UTC is the same at 9:30 am EDT.

I just got an email from my Zone manager with our allocation, I'm hoping its very wrong, but if its not we only got enough allocation to fill our 7/14 and 7/15 orders. I'm hoping its an error, but things could be about to get ugly.

Edit- Just talked to the zone rep, number was correct. He said it was about 30% of the reservations (by 9/18) for most dealers and that matches mine. He did say to remember that this was the estimate, it will change based on the number of reservations that cancel, and they're expecting more cancellations at certain dealers so he's hoping that the number will go up as they loose allocations.
How is that Ford website is still taking reservations for Bronco if they are having allocation problems ?
