As has been pointed out, it's a GVWR issue that they're supposedly going to fix for '22. I intend on possibly getting them separately for when I might need them (I don't intend to leave them on the vehicle all the time).

Yes, the "GVWR issue" that makes paint protection film and headliner material an "overweight" item, as opposed to supply issues where they're making stuff available for some models and not others. Seriously, there is no "GVWR" issue, aside from the crazy talk that has been all over this forum, even after ACTUAL numbers came out that were far off what people were claiming.

Put the roof rack on. Have fun with it. Your Bronco won't explode. You won't get pulled over. You won't lose insurance covers. It won't start raining fire and brimstone. Just don't post photos of it here, because someone will claim you've voided your warranty by having the roof rack on. They'll be wrong, but they'll still say it.

Those pocket flares have given me nightmares all weekend.

I can't unsee what has been seen.🤮

Well-informed enthusiast forum Bronco6G obtained and published what looks like slides from an internal presentation (pictured). They show some of the accessories that buyers will be able to purchase when Bronco deliveries begin later in 2021. There are several types of fender flares, including a few created by aftermarket companies like Bushwacker. If they look a little bit silly in the photos, keep in mind that they were designed to cover aftermarket wheels and tires that will often be bigger than the stock setup shown in most of the images

Would like to see an option for a better winch solution that is behind the bumper and doesn't block the front view camera!

You can modify your order until they schedule it starting in March.
Point of clarification:

The way I understand it is that you can modify your order up until Ford "schedules" your build... meaning they have the parts, a VIN is assigned, and it's going to get built in a week or two. For some people this could be many months aways (or very soon depending on the circumstances).

What is happening first (Apri/May), is that Ford will supply everyone with a "Delivery Estimate/Window" about when they think our build will get "scheduled."

We tend to use the term "schedule" around here to mean Ford figuring our builds and when we get our estimate, but to ford that word has a very specific meaning.

Still, even if they were designed to cover oversized aftermarket wheels and tires, the whole shape of them is pretty bad.

The small factory wheels and tires don't help with the overall image and make them look goofier than they already are.

They make me envision Bronco's with angry-eye grills, 22 inch wheels sporting tires with 30 profile sidewalls, the biggest & bulkiest front bumper with a brush-guard/bull-guard that sticks above the hood, two 40 inch led lightbars over the windshield and those flares. (this is what my nightmares consisted of, btw.)

I agree with you on some items, like maybe the PPF and sound deadening headliner, but you cannot option a roof rack or a tow package on the 4-dr FE, even though the FE is being scheduled with priority outside of the normal 30% allocation for pre-9/19 reservations date cutoff.

In other words, the FE is definitely going to ship in 21MY, but a 4-dr still can‘t get a roof rack or tow package installed from the factory, even though lesser priced trim packages, which are being allocated by formula, can get those items installed from the factory.

Smells like a real GVWR or rollover restriction to me.

::EDIT:: — I agree with this, though... “Put the roof rack on. Have fun with it. Your Bronco won't explode.” Just understand that Ford can‘t install it for you at the factory this model year.

Sure, if you want to waste $300. What Ford reference do you have to say if that is a 2 door, 4 door, Ranger or Escape? Let alone the sure to come early production changes.

The Part numbers are different for the 2 door. But I honestly don’ plan on buying just yet. Thought it was funny that it showed available.

Where did you find validation that is for the 4 door.
