I learned to drive and took my DL test in a MT car (in the 90s).
I've owned MTs from 2001-2011 and 2020-?
I was really excited that Ford included the MT option on the 2021. I had designs on converting my '94 FSB to a MT, but those never came to be. (WAF got in the way, haha)

Mustang DD is a stick. Every morning the last 2 months when I get into my car, shivering my ass off and freezing in my scrubs the only thing I think about for my commute is how badly I want remote start. Never fails to heat up right as I pull into the parking lot at work though.

Can? yes, done it. Should? Not practiced enough for any busy areas, wouldn't feel comfortable without a lot more practice

Same but the opposite. Every time I get in my Jeep after it’s been sitting outside in July I wish I had remote start lol.

At 9 or 10 taught to drive on a 3 speed chevy truck then a Ford F350 bc I had to drive why the rest family tossed hay on a trailer! Then later we had a auto station wagon us kids could drive back and forth to granny's house. Ohhh those were the days! Btw I grew up in the sticks!

Ive read something recently that only 20somthing percent of Americans know how to drive stick. And what only 1-2% own a manual transmission vehicle?

I love driving a manual when it's not my daily driver during rush hour. Stop and go traffic kills it for me.
