Bronco will certainly be a different animal than Flex, which was orphaned, but Flex had white or silver tops available from the get go and then years down the road, they eliminated the alternate color roof option, which IMO make the car.do we even have confirmation of a white top in the first place?
I am willing to compromise in a lot of places, but the top colour isn't one of them. its gotta be a white top or I'm not buying.
Yep, Velocity Blue is close to Lightning Blue, but is brighter - Lightning Blue has a touch more red in it and is a bit darker. I love the Lightning Blue on my Mustang and my dad's Raptor - its a gorgeous color, but Velocity Blue looks great too.Velocity Blue is close to Lightning Blue.
I read somewhere (elsewhere on this forum, F-150 reveal thread, I think), that the Ranger and Everest in Australia are getting a PowerBoost, but it's based around the 2.3L.Any thoughts on whether they’ll include the PowerBoost as an option on the Bronco?!? That would be awesome for camping!
If so then I may be willing to dish out a little extra $$$I read somewhere (elsewhere on this forum, F-150 reveal thread, I think), that the Ranger and Everest in Australia are getting a PowerBoost, but it's based around the 2.3L.
So, if Bronco gets a "PowerBoost" hybrid engine, it may be that same 2.3L.
shoot, that'd be handy for just working around the property. granted all of my yard equipment is gas....who wants to run 500' of cord to power your weed eater right? but for example right now I am replacing the roof of my shed about 150' from the house, and I have to use a corded sawzall up on the roof. it'd been alot easier to just park the truck and run a 20' cord up than dragging out the 2 100' cords and running those then rerolling them then draggin em back out the next day when I came up to another cut that needed to be made.I agree that would be a nice option
Handy for camping trips and maybe pulling small trailer.
Maybe ………………. If you had a tailgate and not a swing gate on your Bronco, then you could use it.I would use the ever loving shit out of a miter box mount on my tailgate.
Doubtful. It's not a work truck.Maybe ………………. If you had a tailgate and not a swing gate on your Bronco, then you could use it.
Looks like we might be getting some kind of shelf that folds down from the swing gate to use like a workbench. Maybe ??
Imagine owning that Ford GT with an actual V8 in it.Imagine owning any of these in 10-30 years. 1/1 color performance model.
?? I Hope they put the Lightning Blue on The 2022 Bronco Raptor! I’m Still holding out for a Power Soft Top even though the White Hard Top from the renderings are SWEET!!! ?The render is crap. In real life, Velocity Blue is actually a bit lighter than Lightning Blue.
Velocity Blue on left, Lightning Blue on right.
Lightning Blue on left, Velocity Blue on right.
Lightning blue seems to have been phased out across the lineup, and replaced by Velocity Blue, so I don't think you'll see Lightning Blue available. Heck, by 2022, Velocity Blue might be replaced too.?? I Hope they put the Lightning Blue on The 2022 Bronco Raptor! I’m Still holding out for a Power Soft Top even though the White Hard Top from the renderings are SWEET!!! ?
My main takeaway from this is that their promotional material is not at all representative of the actual colors....Here's what Carbonized Gray looks like in real life.
.
Yay for velocity blue!
i've seen old (2015) F150's in this color and it's a sort of gray with green. It's gray(almost like magnetic) on cloudy days and in the shade but it's a very nice green in direct sunlight. I'm hoping for something more green for the Bronco. Like Bullit Mustang green would be niceAlright, but the real talk? Guard Green? That’s nice to know we may have a green bronco!
