Car buzz fucking sucks. 100% clickbait garbage, doesn’t mean we won’t get the 3.0 but them saying it adds no validity

Just came across this article that speculates the Bronco will be getting the 3.0 V6. What are your thoughts, and how likely is it?

drivetime had the same article.. purely speculation! Based on one persons Facebook post. the only thing the Dana employe said was 2.7 and 3.0 option. No mention of HP or hybrid.

my firm belief

2.3 Ecoboost 270h310t base
2.7 Ecoboost 335h380t higher trim
2.3 hybrid 360h500t higher trim option
3.0 Ecoboost 400h415t raptor

Will the 2.3 Hybrid be available during the launch date of the Bronco?

laj.tuxmek talks like Bronco will not follow Ford's traditional "trim" structure...that there will be many mix & match options. I'm hoping that's true

I don't see getting more than 2 options, the 2.3 and 2.7. Unlike F-150, Ford projects only about 1/5 the volume of Bronco sales. I think a 3rd choice would add to the build costs that will get far less profit return. The 2.7 is already way ahead of anything Wrangler has and is probably more than enough in a vehicle with such a high center of gravity.

Strongly agree with this.

I think we could get any engine that is already offered in a Ford truck (as long as it fits). Also, any engine we get will be in the next Ranger as well. So, volume shouldn’t be an issue.

Count me in for that hybrid

I agree with this. I just hope it's the 2.7 and not the 3.3. Jeep JL started with a turbo 4 and n/a V6. I hope Ford doesn't try to copy that.

I hope I’m wrong, but if I had to guess, I’d bet on the 2.3 and 2.7 at launch. 2.3 in base and 2.7 in highest trim level.

I'm expecting 4 options from the factory, not necessarily all available to start.

2.3
2.7 or 3.0
Hybrid
Showboat trim with a tuned up version of the 2.7/3.0
thats where I’m at. Makes the most sense.
2.3 at launch (April 2021)
2.7/3.0 maybe at launch maybe SLIGHTLY later (summer 2021)
hybrid later summer 2021
showboat not till 2022 Model so mid 2022
