Same here. I initially told myself my budget would be 40k. I was at $43k until the auto trans price fix, now $45k. I really hope nothing unexpected happens now or I might have to change my build. :(
Sounds familiar.

"I can't believe I'm gonna spend $40k on a car."

Then, $45k, then $50k, now it's $54k.

October 29 rez for the down payment win!

The other day I took a brief look at pricing out a Badlands build and quickly realized I should stop digging myself a more expensive hole. Black Diamond is more than enough for me.

Absolutely it can be less, Ford F-150's can easily be optioned out to a much higher price than the base Raptor, it's not about being the most expensive Bronco.
Hopefully that will be the case. I'll gladly accept being wrong for a $59.9k Warthog.

My guess is a starting price around 61,500.00

Current model Ranger Raptor is about 57,650 converted to US dollar. Ranger is 4k less on the starting price so I jumped it up to 61,500.00.

Only thing throwing a wrench in this guess is the F150 raptor starts at 53,455.00. I do think we will see the starting price of the nex gen F150 Raptor go up.

My speculation is the Warthog will be cross shopped with the Jeep 392. Since that is showing mid 70's optioned up, the Warthog in turn, optioned up, may be in the same range.

Man I’m getting old.. I’ve been building out a 52k WT and that makes me a little nauseous.

I bought my 1st house in ‘98 for 47k...

77k for a Jeep - damn...
More power to anyone that can and wants to afford that..

Ok, now you are talking optioned up and that is a whole different ballgame! But, with that said Ford hasn't gone crazy with Raptor pricing why would they do it with the Warthog, that's FCA's thing for the hemi engine?
Warthog + Options + 200 accessories = $$$$$

Ok so we know V8 from factory is off the table. But are we thinking it gets the 3.0L from the Explorer ST, or the 3.5L from the F-150 Raptor?

3.0 is all but confirmed...
The Warthog I saw and stopped to talk with the engineer was clearly a V6. I asked if it was the 3.0 and he just smiled. Another engineer I ran across had done emission testing recently on a 3.0 for a “Bronco project”. He wasn’t sure, but believed it to be for the Warthog. Said it was a beast HP wise.

It really depends on how Ford equips it. I would be surprised to see it start for over $60K since the Gen 3 Raptor is going to start for under $60K. But then, Jeep is charging ~$2500 more than the base TRX.

I think a base Warthog comes with it’s own version of the Sasquatch package and base 35s. Like the Gen 3 Raptor, 37s will be an option. I think the Warhog will EASILY surpass $70K when equipped as such.
