Hasn't Ford made multiple variants of the 3.0 by now ...

This seems unecessarily conflicting.

TUNED to between
315-335hp and 350-400lbft

Only available in turbo. No n/a or hybrid.

3.0L v6 85.3mm bore 86mm stroke
Same EXACT block and heads as 2.7.

tuned to
350-400hp and 380-415 lbft

So the current plan is that I'll get the 2.7 (if that's the biggest) I'll also get a 3.0 motor from a wrecked ST. Next I'll bore it to a 4.0, use the port/ fuel injection of the 2.7, get bigger turbos, and be around 600hp on pump fuel... on second thought, my wife might kill me if I tear apart our brand new Bronco...

Get a 2.7 from a wrecked F-150, bore it to 4.0 and adjust the stroke however you need to instead. That way you start with the port injection already there.

At that point, you're not tearing up the new Bronco, because you're not removing any parts, thus "preserving the integrity of the factory engine" by doing the engine swap.

I don’t think with the nano you will be able to get past 3.3L with out really risking blowing up.

I recall both the 2.7 and the 3.0 being PFDI, but I'm trying to find some documents to back it up. I'm currently on vacation and don't have my work laptop, so I can't really go digging. I can update you next week when I'm back home. But everything else you said is spot on.
according to the spec sheet for the 2020 Ford Explorer the 3.0 is only DI.

the 2.0N/A, and 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.3, and 3.0 ecoboost engines as of now are ONLY direct injection.

the 2.5, 3.3, 5.0 N/A, and 2.7 ecoboost and 3.5 ecoboost are both Direct and Port Injection.

Then I think @BuckedOff-Road is SOL with his (yep, assuming gender) plan anyway, since the 3.0L the same case and head as the 2.7L.

Maybe he can pull the 3.5L out of a wrecked F-150 Raptor and bore it out to 4.0?

Yeah I know the Dragon and Maverick engines are DI only and the Duratec, Coyote, and Nano engines are all PFDI. The 2.7 and 3.0 are so similar that I have a hard time believing the 2.7 would be PFDI and the 3.0 DI only, especially when the 3.0 is the "premium" version of the Nano. But I can't confirm until next week.

Also, don't always believe those spec sheets. They are written by marketing people who wouldn't know a DAMB from an RFF from a pushrod.
I was going to try to see if you can tell by the fuel rails but um... good luck finding those in this mess >.<
Dear lord and you know the bronco is only going to be Tighter.

yea a 5.0 AINT gonna fit.

Yeah I'd have to see a long block outside of the vehicle to be sure.

Also, I wouldn't be so sure about your last statement:

If I can get a DOHC in there ...…….. then I can make a pushrod fit ;)

Thanks.
