@FATHORSE so what‘s the deal with the mod top delay?
I was told it was dating back to pre-covid and manufacturing quality issues. Once the problems were addressed the manufacturer said they wouldn’t be able to meet the committed quantities. A search for additional vendors was on but then with COVID, closures, etc. delays were inevitable.

That is because Texas is more official than Illinois. Free honorary Bronco6g Texas passport's are available to visit our auto show.

Was glad we made the 2 hour drive to the show. It was great to see these in person. I think my wife is excited about “us” getting one so she can drive something different from what her friends drive.

we looked at a 12” display screen in a F150 and she really liked that.

I had an in-depth discussion with the Ford rep yesterday and specifically around tops. As you can see the Mod top on the two door does have the gunners hatch. He specifically stated that top would be the same as the production top. Color, finish, texture, etc.....

He also mentioned every 6 months a “special edition” would be released and the “Everglades” version that was being released was pretty sweet.

I drove down from Jenks (Tulsa area) which was about 90 miles. I was both satisfied that I was able to finally see what my money was being spent on but at the same time disappointed that these displays weren’t interactive.

Did they give any indication when the Everglades version would be coming?

I really hope they release the 2022 changes soon. I have an early reservation and would like to know what will be available before mine is built. I would think Ford would want to release this to encourage some of us to push back our reservations and allow others that want 2021 options to move up.

Nothing specific other than he mentioned different fender configurations and some throw back designs. Nothing on color or additional details. In all honesty I was focusing on specifics for my FE and Walktrak builds and what potential timelines were.
Thanks. With the mention of different fender configurations, perhaps a squared off fender similar to the SEMA build. Having optional roadster doors would complete the look.

I am very happy I got to check out the 2-door, even from behind the ropes. It’s a lot more substantial than I was expecting. Way wider and taller than I thought

Yeah the Squared Fender design was mentioned yesterday as well on the Heritage Edition. But keep that on the downlow. 🤫

It's great reading everyone's impressions when they see it in person. It can be so different when you see new vehicle in person for the first time versus online only. And you often don't want what you have built up in your mind to be a let down. Sounds like that is not the case. Your descriptions were helpful. I'm liking that it sounds like it has presence and in closer in size to a Defender. Wish I could have made it to the show as well! Thanks to everyone sharing and posting up pics.

A few pics. Overall impression is that it is bigger than I thought and really has throwback styling.

I'm curious how much larger the Bronco was than you had imagined? Specifically the Overland rig.

Reason for asking is that I was shocked at the size of the Overland Bronco when seeing it at Filson in Seattle. It was quite a bit larger than anticipated considering the size of Jeeps. The tires were comically large, bordering on absurd for any on-road driving and yet they are going to be a massive take-rate with the pre-order crowd.

Also, we didn't get the 2-door at the Seattle event, could you please tell me if you felt there was much of a size difference between the 2-door and 4-door from your in-person observations?
