I found a base at the MAP and snapped a couple at the fence. I went on the PD campus to take a couple filling up...all I have to say, not every driver is keen about people snapping shots. When I asked the woman if I could take a few pics, she said and I quote, "DON'T YOU TAKE NO MOTHER FU**ING PICTURES. YOU GUYS COME UP IN HERE ALWAYS WANTING PICTURES AND JUST GET THE F*CK OUTTA HERE"...end quote.

All I could do smile and walk away laughing....so be careful out there folks.

At 52 y/o, I'm struggling to remember the last time I was 'told' by anyone but Mrs. Burndog, lol.
A younger me would have handled that completely different and most unpleasant for everyone. Wisdom, ya?

With age comes wisdom. Way to pick your battles! You live to fight (take pictures) another day!

Sure do! That's been a sweet-spot for 40's-50's cars since about the 40's and 50's.

Wait, somebody responded to the 40's wheel post.
Now i'm confused what wheels were supposed to look best on 40's cars and inquiring minds want to know!!! (currently shopping for different hubcaps on the '51, open to any/all suggestions)

Interesting modern interpretation of a louvered hood. Does anybody know or think those have any sort of corresponding vents in the actual hood or just a stick-on?

Gets the mind thinking about pulling out the ol' metal press, dyes and spare sheet metal to designing some actual louvers for the Bronco, just to see how much it can piss off others for having done an actual mod by hand and without paying somebody, on a "$50 thousand dollar car".

I'd sooner say that the hood piece is just a stick-on bit of plastic. Given the side moldings and the giant fender flares on several of these, I'd say these vehicles are test beds for factory accessories. I recall seeing all of those bits on the Accessory / DIO list. So the hood thing is totally fake is my bet.

I could like the hood molding. Would like to see more of this... on white...

In 6 months when I'm bored and looking for something to waste $300-400 on, this may start appealing to me too. I'm hoping for a nice decal before then though.

This is the first time I've noticed how massive and un-integrated the rear bumper looks. Camera angle probably has a lot to do with it, but "boat swim deck" comes to mind...

Those door moldings don't look too bad on that Carb Gray. Better than what was shown yesterday.
I haven't totally written those off. I think with the addition of the OBX step, they'll blend in.

That Amb 2door Sasquatch minus the steps is going to look awesome in my driveway! I just got my old Jeep all shined up and put up for sale.

Sorry if this was covered but do we think the MIC top on the AMB one is the older/lighter MIC or darker/newer version

really hope it’s the dated Lighter one. Doesn’t really look awesome w AMB
