Im not saying they’re slow lol. I’m saying I can’t wait till someone pulls up next to me and thinks they’re fast. I drive a Challenger and 2 camaros before that, I’ve had a sports car for 9 years straight. Every Kia, Honda, Toyota and so on thinks they’re fast and I take joy in beating them when they pull up next to me in a lane that ends like they’re going to pass me.
This is so true. I drive on a road every day on my work commute where 2 lanes goes into one after stopping at a red light- and it's a frantic drag race every time LOL. I used to be pushed almost off the road many times with the cars trying to merge at the end while driving a "small" Fiesta ST. I purposely drive another way to avoid this horrible road. And I upgraded to a Silverado truck. I am still almost rammed in the back that they have to slow down for me. And I am not a slow driver- I drive at least 10 MPH over the speed limit LOL. Crazy fast drivers around here. So I got the 2.7- have to keep up with heavy footed traffic.

Also keep in mind the 2.3 Ecoboost Bronco will be geared 4.70:1 So the engine will handle the 35 inch tires perfectly. Gearing is extremely important. Totally different gears then what's in other Ford vehicles with the 2.3. I think people forget this when they leave comments about if it can handle the bigger tires or not.

Haha! At least someone gets it! 🤣 Everyone else thinks I’m insulting their cars! I drive a work van and I have multiple roads this happens on, the road towards my house is this way. People will cut me off, flip me off I’ve even been rammed 3-4 times by some douche in a truck because he’s mad he ran out of road to pass me, he broke my mirror. I just avoid the road now and go a different route. So when I’m in my car I take joy in laughing at them when they get next to me.

Only in the BL is 4.7 standard. The rest of the manuals get 4.46

I'm getting an Automatic transmission with the 2.3. It's 4.70:1 with Sasquatch

Can't be a fast driver if your car is always pissing coolant in your garage .
I always hear that the fastest autocross runs look boring and slow because they're so smooth.

People always tell me it's really fun and exciting to watch me run...should I be offended?

Remember the Ranger has 3.73 gearing with the 2.3. So 4.46 and 4.7 are even better.

A Scat Pack can manage a sub-5 0-60 time even on the street. Tuned 2.7 F150s are typically over 5 seconds to 60, so it still probably wouldn't be enough.
TFL had one do 4.83 so I do wonder where a Bronco with lower gears will stand.

My nickname was 11/10ths in my brz so I feel you( haven't had a chance to race the e36 yet still need a new steering rack and LCAs) That looks like you had more fun then the person who ran a perfect line.

What about power to weight though? Isn't the new Bronco heavy- like 5K LBS? What is the weight 2 door versus 4 door? And is the V6 heavier than the I4?

I had a 2016 Miata ND- it weighed liked 2600 LBS and had only a 160 HP engine- that car was pretty quick.
Now you're catching on, it's all about that power to weight. my vw is 260hp/300tq at the wheels, the 335 is nearly 100 more on both of those numbers, but the vw will dust it any day of the week, because it's 850 lbs lighter.

I think the listed curb weight for the 2.3L in 2dr is like 4100-4200lbs. load it up with a v6 and 4 doors and a bunch of options, and they're tipping 4800 pretty easy.

It's true, I do race control for a local club group and the fastest ones are the ones that really aren't doing anything show-y at all. Honestly, if we know who you are in race control, you're probably doing something wrong.
