I get it - was set on Velocity Blue since Day One - then saw the sun shining different ways on a AM Blue and really liked it a lot - and switched and feel pretty good about it NOW! I have seen some Rangers in the Cactus Gray and they do look pretty good I think the Bronco Sport looks pretty good in A51 . . . and I truly thing these Broncos are going to look outstanding in any color! Can not go wrong. .

..... color choices were all over the board.....

Maybe that is why they offer so many choices, people have different tastes  .

Make no mistake Leonard, I am not speaking ill of Carbonized Gray now just because I changed. I just had an epiphany for personal situation and felt I would share ( not that anyone was asking for me to ;) )
I'm glad to read about it! Seriously. Well written also!

Beats hearing about cupholders, rear AC vents and shitty dealers from buyers who waited until now to feel them out.

Edit: I choose Carbonized because it was very conservative, but I can't see the cactus being called anything besides conservative as well. I like the metal flake in the carbonized.
Keep in mind, I usually pick deeper, richer, colors, Ruby Reds, Deep Blues etc... When I saw this pic of Carbonized Grey, even if it is of poor quality, it stoked the fire for a bit. HoosierDaughter even strayed from the AMB for a bit because of it.
Seeing it on a Superduty did not disappoint either.

Tell me that Base on the right doesn't have character and attitude!!!
More pics in link.

Please note I was trying to imply "let it rain so that cactus gray looks like a lovely color paint", not "let it rain cndmgoo", which was not the direction that was supposed to go.

I had the same exact experience with A51 and Cactus Gray. I dragged my daughters with me to stalk the Sports in the Ford lot. (the wife was over the color decision LONG ago). We all agreed, A51 is nice, but we really liked Cactus. I think I was drawn to Area 51 for the name.

Good choice on the VB, too.
I think Area 51 is one of those colors that would benefit from the white mod top.

It was great meeting you too Brad. It was funny that while you and I were crawling in and out of the vehicles there our wives were commiserating about putting up with our obsession. Good times. Can't wait until we get to drive our own.

I've wanted a Ford vehicle in Rapid Red since I bought my Miata in Soul Red Metallic. Back then I was cross-shopping against a Mustang GT in Ruby Red (same thing). Too bad the Mustang wasn't as fun, I've been lusting after Ford code RR for a long, long time.

Is that your feeling about the color Jason or Rick's comment ragging on the color?
Lol

Rick and his love of the melted crayon analogy.
I love Rock and his color venacular but this one has me tired and bored...

Every time I feel content that I ordered the right color, Ford extends the deadline for order changes.
