This past weekend, my fiance's friend drove up with a new 2020 Rubicon with the soft top Sky-one touch. Walking up to it, I had no idea it had this feature and it worked great. One button and it retracted in an orderly fashion. Her gf claimed it was pretty quiet on the hwy when closed also. I think Bronco needs to come up with something similar. The current soft top just looks like a large tarp that doesn't fit all that well with indents/swells/gaps/bubbles, imo.

How does the Bestop supertop compete with that sky one?

The sky touch has had a lot of issues. Check the jl forums. That’s why we didn’t get it. I do like the idea if there were no issues.

The sky one top doesn’t come all the way off does it? That alone would keep me away. I always pictured it as a double-wide sunroof.

I like the idea, but I see leaks in it's future.

Have a link? I'm getting the MIC WT SAS and am looking at options for a soft top- def not the Bronco one right now.

My friend has a JLUR with the Sky One. I passed on the $4k option. Did not make much sense to me at that price

MyTop makes an automatic soft top for the Jeep that folds all the back and down. Hopefully in the future they will make one for the Bronco.

You can take it completely off, but it wasn’t intended to be removed. It’s a PITA to do so.

I had one of the first Jeep JL's with the Sky-one touch soft top for 4 years and had ZERO problems with it. That was one of my main reasons for wanting to keep it instead of buying a Bronco. I miss it terribly. Ford comes up with a similar version, I am buying.

Yes, this. They’ve had it for about 4 years and many people post about issues to this day. It also Becomes a problem if you really do want to take the whole thing off.

Its a nice option if you want somewhere between a sunroof and a soft top. I wouldn’t say it is great at being either.

I think the Ford top has you already covered in the leaks department. :ROFLMAO:
