Just ordered wheels! Am I nuts?

I just ordered wheels to put on my BD, when it arrives. TireRack has a deal on some AlphaEquipt Delta wheels that I like better than anything from the factory. They're 17x8.5 with +35mm offset (Ranger wheels). I think they'll look great and more importantly will fit the Mickey Thompson 33x12.50 R 17 Baja Boss ATs I hope to put on as well.

I admire your commitment. Post some pics! What’d u do just buy what fits a Ranger? Last I checked tire rack didn’t list anything for the bronco.

I was seriously close to pulling the trigger a few weeks ago when RTR had a discount code. Just couldn't do it without a build date at least.

So glad I’m not the only one that did this!!! I was worried because it’s an older style wheel. My luck they’d be discontinued when my bronco gets here and I wouldn’t be able to find them anymore. Did you buy 4 or 5??

I love SCS (Stealth Custom Series) wheels. Am considering the Ray10's for the Bronco. They are typically made for Toyota but the bolt pattern is same as the Bronco. Only issue is the center bore size, I think a center ring adapter should do the trick. Now figuring out the offset...I am also considering Method 310 Con 6, maybe Fuel Revolvers or American Racing Baja. I want to go for a retro look on Bronco.

They haven't arrived yet. I'll probably have my local tire dealer put them on, unless the Ford dealer will do it for free (like that's going to happen).

Just be sure the deal doesn't fall through. In 14, I ordered a Mustang and before it arrived, I had nearly $3k in parts purchased and I almost didn't buy the Mustang.

No, I bought Vision Nemesis. Bought 5 too! They’re the same bolt pattern as my ‘85 Toyota SR5 so if Bronco tanks I can still use them.

Nice wheels Moab , I would buy 5 too and rotate the spare although 33” ko2s would be my choice.
Has anyone confirmed the offset for stepping up to 33s with full articulation yet or did you just do the math for diameter and width ?
