Contemplated for a solid day, decided to email my dealer YET AGAIN to beg for an update lol. This entire process is so scuffed that I'm begging for something as small as a 2 month time window, its sick!

I shooted my shot and called the bronco customer service team to see if they could provide any detail.

All they said was I should receive notification in “mid April” in regards to production of my vehicle and an estimate as to when I can expect my vehicle delivered “early this summer”.

For what it is worth, I received THREE reservation confirmation emails last July after ordering on day 1. One email confirmed my First Edition reservation(I selected OBX), Then I recieved an email confirming my Base Bronco res? (in that email, Ford thought my name was Heather?) And I did finally see an email explaining the confusion of the initial reservation process and confirmed my OBX res.
After some time and research, I changed my order to Badlands and the dealer rep confirmed everything with me twice by email and submitted the order to Ford. My order conf. email updated the model to Badlands, and that is what I see when I view my reservation/orders tab on Ford's website.

I Facebook friended my salesman so I can bother him with questions through messenger anytime.....

Dealer called me yesterday after my repeated emails and finally told me the following:

• 7 reservations on 7/13
• 2 reservations on 7/14 (ahead of my 9:13AM ET timestamp)
• "At least 2 of the 7/13 reservations didn't convert"
• Their dealer gets 43 allocations, 7 of which showed up for this first round of scheduling

That puts me, worst case, at #8 of #7 with only one deadly sin (leather trim). Hoping and praying that someone else stuck to their guns with a painted top or dual top to move me up one slot. Will be interesting to see if any other single deadly sin or combo thereof would push an earlier reservation out later than me. Will report back tomorrow in case this can provide some glimmer of hope to someone.

My account still says Outer Banks, which was my reservation model.

I ordered a Badlands. Which was in my order confirmation email from Ford!

The fact those two systems are not in sync is troublesome.

I’m probably getting a Pinto or Maverick!

Ya, I'm optimistic that I'll get my order scheduled, which is unfortunate because if it doesn't happen it's gonna suck real bad...
