If I could get an F150 in my garage I would have an even harder time getting the Bronco. I REALLY want an FX4 XLT with a 3.5 and high package in that space white color.

That's not factory though
Yeah, but it's just a factor of the middle of the grille is the best place for the brush bar/grille guard, which also happens to be the best place for the lettering. I predict when people get the new version that is lower, they will complain that it doesn't actually protect the grille anymore. :D

Ford will need to market both versions:

The shortened version marketed as the mall crawler/poser version. (For marketing purposes, it will be called something else and labeled with a *).
The taller version marketed as the functional version, probably also labeled with a *. ;)

*Not intended to protect the grille against heavy or hard obstacles, brush or debris, road or off-road hazards, impacts against objects, acts of nature or God, intentional or unintentional use or abuse, or any other uses other than normal daily driving.

? The F150 is a 0.6” wider and 2” taller than a Sasquatch bronco. Excluding roof rails...

Aly also works at the Ford dealership where Our Bronco Life was at with the OBX. That is her F150. She adds more pics I'll add here too!

I saw a Bronco 4 Door Badlands at the local Ford event Friday. I was surmised that it was bigger - taller, sat higher, and had more legroom than I expected. On 32" tires.

length bud...tried to park my brother's 2019 in the garage and it's about a foot too long. I'm not parking a $50k vehicle outside, especially with pillbillies stealing cats.

Oh. Youre statement was misleading. that if an F150 could fit than the bronco would fit.

for what it’s worth I don’t have a garage and getting a 60k bronco. But have ring cameras everywhere.

oh yeah, I see what you're saying...I meant if I could get an F150 to fit I would probably purchase one over a Bronco.

What’s in the third photo below the one showing the engine at ? Looks like a plug-in for something?
I believe that's the door plug that you have to disconnect to remove the doors

My Bronco build is $20k cheaper than the F-150 build I'm comparing it with. And that's $10k below the super duty build.
Agreed priced out an f150 about 20g more my loaded obx minus quatch is still 3g cheaper than my 19 1500 bighorn was and cheaper than a comparable wrangler

I was there today in the 11am - noon slot; it was beautiful MI sunny day. The event was managed nicely and while I felt I was way more educated (courtesy of all of you) ;-) than the presenters, it was still awesome to see, touch, sit inside a real live Bronco! I also echo a colleagues thoughts on the Outer Banks since I also ordered a Badlands and would like to see one! Ford has another event on Monday only a few miles away at another dealer (Bob Maxey) so perhaps I can see another model.

I'm 6' even and was very comfortable inside albeit the soft-top was pushed back. 12" screen massive and pretty and I hope there are light dimming options, dark mode etc such that it's gentle on the evening eyes...

To be honest, after I asked the host to pop the hood, I wish I didn't since it reminded me if you cut loose an extra caffeinated wolverine in the engine bay ;-). I'm quite sure it's properly engineered and purpose built but didn't wow me....but the other 99% did ;-).

6G helped arm with with lots of great info and I was able to answer several Q's that other posed ;-), THANKS.

A few pics of the event including a super nice Bronco Sport owner with her proud cyber orange new rig....lots of metal flake in the paint, something you can't usually see on a web page, very awesome. Also, a super bad a$$ GT500 in a lime like color that Ford calls something else...nice $82K rig.

Enjoy friends.
B.

Sync 3 has a dark mode at night. Sync 4 should too. Is that what you’re wondering?

Agreed, I was thinking of adding it, but now after seeing it in pictures I am glad I did not.

Aly said the F150 is a hair taller and it's really not by much!
Didnt see this. We should be talking about this. Are the bronco prelim heights severly understated?

a 2021 4x4 super crew is 77.2” high. An OBX (well Big Bend per prelim stats) is 72.9” and a Sasquatch is 75.3”. So the OBX wheel size gives it what? 0.5" in added height over a big bend. So 73.4" vs 77.2" (F150). It's not even close. Maybe this is a 4x2 (not a 4x4) supercrew that is listed as 75.6"?? Even then it should be a noticeable difference.

Aly's truck is 75.6..maybe the next event we can get a side x side and the doors open like B-J picture. That def helps seeing heights better! I know she said the step up to get into the two different vehicles wasn't much different the truck was s bit taller as well.

LMAO. Meanwhile my neighbors leave $130k vehicles in the driveways. It’s just a vehicle friend, and it’s just money.
