What’s not worth it?It's still a nice option to have. I never really needed then however it's some nice insurance. They look badass too bud it's not worth the compromises.
Lots of maintainence and lack of legality for street use (like anyone cares)What’s not worth it?
What maintenance??Lots of maintainence and lack of legality for street use (like anyone cares)
So basically you are supposed to re torque the ring bolts after a certain period of time and it's a very tedious process, even just doing it for the first time because it has to be in a crisscross pattern and in stages. Tire shops also refuse to work on beadlock wheels. They are illegal because normally a tire would fall off in an accident or harsh maneuver but beadlocks could cause a rollover. Keep in mind nobody will know what to look for so it's not like you're gonna get pulled over, especially with the recent trend of them on factory vehicles. Even with just the beauty rings my tire shop gets all butthurt when I bring my raptor. What maintenance??
If the rim has a lip and comes with the original beauty ring how does it change the lip itself when the ring is changed.
Also Why is the ring illegal??
nah...bare aluminum is not the only color you can getThose are true beadlocks. You're not going to find them in anything but bare aluminum.
the Re torque is easy, but the initial placement and torque up is what is tediousSo basi
