...as for the other user that mentioned the total cargo area was 13" longer on the 4 door at the Phoenix event, im not sure how much we could glean off that. the 2 door seats flip up, so did he take the measurement from the folded seat bottom, or from the back of the front seats? Were the front seats positioned the same on the 2 door and 4 door model? A lot of variables. But the one that is more concrete is that ford shows 15.7" more length on the 4 door, and the same legroom between the 2 and 4 door, so...

Got these pictures on a 2-door by chance?

Not sure if these are posted above but here are a few pics of the 2D. All stolen from various threads that I can’t recall.

Peace

The cargo capacity of the 2-door Bronco (rear seats up) is literally less than a VW Golf with the rear seats up. I bought a Golf wagon simply because the normal Golf cargo capacity isn't worth much in day-to-day usage. While I love the look of the 2-door, it's quite impractical, especially for "outdoor adventure" use. I'm amazed at how little cargo space you get. Even the 4-door will be a big step down for me from my Durango in the cargo space department.

We have a Mk7 GTI (Golf) with a Yakima roof rack and 21 cu ft Skybox, and will be buying a 2-door Bronco as a second vehicle fitted with a similar roof rack solution so we can move the Skybox between them as needed.

We almost always drive our GTI with the rear seats folder down so our greyhound has enough room to ride with us in the back. We'll be doing the same in the Bronco, just need to figure out how to level the floor. We are assuming the aftermarket will offer solutions for this.

Based on all of the measurements we've found, the 2-door will offer ample room for him in the back with the rear seats folded with the added bonus of additional headroom (right now he grazes the headliner of our GTI when he stands). Worst case, we'll remove one or both of the rear seats from the Bronco to achieve a little additional volume.

We almost never use the rear seats in our GTI and don't expect that to change with the Bronco. If we need additional seating and/or storage for some reason, my wife and I will simply caravan. One of us will haul the dog in the back, the other can haul our collective shit. :)

Haha. Yeah I’m done. Had a 5 minute break on the computer and cracked open MS paint. Anyway, nothing much to discuss. Even if these are off or overstated a bit I think most will be happy with the results. Visually it looks like good space on both the 2 and 4 door. I’m banning myself from this thread. Lol. God speed everyone.

Forgive me if this was mentioned, but does anyone know if the rear seats recline a little? My son is 6'5" and a slight recline helps give him some extra room. My wife's Highlander has this feature and it's super nice to have.

It bugs me that there’s no center pass-through on the 4-door. Do they expect my skis to ride on the roof, or my kids?
