.....FORD, are you listening? If you prewired the washer/electric connections for the hardtop, I'd have been very happy to let the vehicle come with the standard soft top, and get the hard top later. But I can't even get an answer as to why they won't to this!

The answer is money. Ford doesnt want to pay for shipping hard tops later, or pay for installing washer/ electric connections on soft top Broncos.

Apparently, Jeep planned for the pandemic because an awful lot of Jeeps with hard tops are being sold. And since jeep isn’t just acquiring commodities and they’re actually being put on vehicles and selling them and Bronco has yet to sell a single vehicle while being in acquisition mode for a year and building stock levels for production looks even worse for Ford.

MIC - the top that nobody liked from the beginning, resented because it wasn't black or white, and despised when we were forced to change to it when the MOD fell through.
Now everyone is totally pissed they can't get it. (including me) Go figure.

I've actually always been planning on the MIC top. YMMV.

Granted, with the delays I might just switch vehicles.

I want the Bestop on my 2dr FE anyway. Anyone know when or how to order one? Bestop website isn't selling them. They have been on a ton of the demos for the 2 doors due to the top shortage.

So what's the big drawback of changing to a soft top? The back windshield wiper wiring only? I'm debating swapping to the soft top and then ordering black modular hardtop once available since I'm going Shadow black on my rig.

Here is my thinking; there will be dozens of soft top options available via the aftermarket. I'm already paying $1695 (or whatever it is..) to ship the truck to my dealer.

I can get a (maybe better?) soft top later
I need a hard top eventually

So.... that's why I'm in for the MIC
