This makes zero sense to me...
Ford wants Bronco as it's own brand, then gives it an F-150 name?!
Ranger/F150 that is…. It’s basically Fords hardcore off-road trim now….

One on one, a big male warthog would kick the shit out of a velociraptor. Just sayin. 320 lbs or so of dense bone and muscle and tough hide and teeth vs 100 lbs of light muscle and bird bone.
You should see the video of the black bear killing one earlier this year 👀

ford rep, "quick let's distra
Maybe it will just be called the Bronco R.
That's what I was thinking, Bronco Raptor, called Bronco R for short giving a nod to the Bronco R Baja racer..but sticking with the Raptor for name recognition.

They should change their public facing documents that say Warthog to Raptor then.

The only thing that makes me think it may not be called a Bronco Raptor is that it doesnt make sense to name it after two different animals. Same as a Bronco Warthog.

It makes total sense, branding-wise, but it would just be a strange name to me.
Hmmm...let me think...a Ford vehicle named after two animals...hmmm...nope can't think of even one.

OMG! Read this >> https://fordauthority.com/2021/05/new-2023-ford-bronco-raptor-pictures-reveal-more-exterior-details/

This particular Bronco Raptor prototype appears to be the non-hybrid model, given the exhaust configuration, which means that it’s powered by Ford’s 3.0L EcoBoost V6, as Ford Authority exclusively reported recently. That engine will be joined by a hybrid model, expected to be powered by the same 3.0L EcoBoost V6 and electric motor combination present in the Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring.
The sheetmetal is looking more and more like a standard Bronco with larger flares.

Why are they quoting 35" tires, I thought we had seen 37" tires in some of the other photos?

i liked the Warthog name. But i am not surprised considering the "Mach E MUSTANG" which is not a mustang btw. i think they could have further developed the separate brand identity of the Bronco family by putting W A R T H O G across the grill instead of F O R D or rapter or whatever
