Thanks for confirming via the fine print. I didn't see that. The website is a nightmare. Guess I have to wait for my 2DR to be confirmed.

Got mine as well! Will be attending with the wife July9-10

For those wondering about the cost of Horseshoe Bay Resort on those days, the special rate takes it from 429 (497 with tax per day) to 343.20 (406.19 with tax per day). Cost is cheaper if you stay during the weekend though.
You may also stay in Marble Falls which is about 10-15 minutes away. The cost is in the low to mid $100s.

$595 for the guest plus other fees? Offroadeo is turning out to be as cool as Bronco Nation.

$595 is crazy. I want to go, but not by myself, so I guess I'll be sitting it out.
You can meet someone there, and then you're not by yourself anymore 🙂

Half joking aside, when they open up the NE dates, I plan to go solo but also meet folks! I'd love for my wife to go but I agree with you that the cost might be too prohibitive. She's not gonna get as much enjoyment out of off roading, especially knowing she can do it for free in our delivered Bronco lol

For those traveling in and want to check out the area, there's a really good off road park in Marble Falls called Hidden Falls Adventure Park. If you're flying in, you can rent Jeeps, ATVs, & dirt bikes there but I would make a reservation.

Does your guest get their own vehicle or ride with you? If my guest (wife) doesn't want to drive, why would we have to pay $595 for her to be a passenger?? Yeah, no thanks. Free my ass.
In process of registering (going to cancel it and wait for another location, possibly)
The first screen once you input your emergency contact info in states:
"Owner and guests will occupy the same vehicle".
Hmm.
Double hmm.
I mean, if I'm paying $595, my wife is damn sure gonna do some piloting as well. I guess we will switch off occasionally.
Keeping her excited about this thing is imperative.
So far so good, but if we drive 20 hours to get there, pay $400 a night for a hotel, pay $600 for her to sit in the back seat for 2 days more....no bueno, amigo.

Because this has been promoted as some special thing for those with pre-orders and suddenly having to shell out $600 to bring a friend makes it way less exciting.
Or look at it as getting a $600 experience for free with your Bronco and anyone that wants to join along is going to have to pay. It’s really that simple.

Did anyone here goto the Mazda Rev It Up events years ago?

It was one day. It included basic driving lessons, an autocross course, and a few other courses to drive on. It's was only a registration fee, no extras for insurance or anything. You didn't even need to own or buy a Mazda.

Whipping a Mazdaspeed 6 around the track was pretty fun. It was great to autocross in someone else's car. Zoom-zoom

I realize these offroadeos are much more extensive events, but Ford could have done better. Look what Mazda did for non customers for under $100. They had these events on 3 different years.

Make guests for Bronco owners much cheaper. No registration fee for owners. Basic insurance included. The high fees should be for non bronco owners and buyers. To keep room for the people who basically purchased this experience by purchasing the Bronco.

Haha
Yeah you're gonna have to swap driver seats for her to experience it first hand. And for that, its truly not worth the cost to bring a guest. Feels financially irresponsible really unless your wife is as much as an enthusiast as the rest of us.

Do we know the exact address/location of the Off-Roadeo park in Austin? How far away is it from the Horseshoe?

Absolutely! Marble Falls is a nice town worth visiting for anyone that comes in from out of the area!

I only live an hour south of the event but decided to bite the bullet and do a night at the resort (wife mentioned extending it to another night so we have a full weekend without the kids LOL). Main reason is I have never been to this resort and have always wanted to check it out. Usually when we go up to Lake LBJ we rent a cabin or work something out with my friend's family that owns a house on the lake.

You can use the perk $$$s they offered to apply against the guest fee. Some help.
