Dealers informed that 4-Door Bronco FCTP Mannequin demo units will be Soft Top only

Interesting, I recently took a chance and moved to ST. In the PNW it is a big risk but if my dealership gets their demo before my order builds I will at least get to test drive and potential flip it back to HT if i hate it. Knowing my lock I will have my order lock and only then find out I hate it. From a pure looks perspective I like the ST better but noise and constant rain is a concern.

I am on board with this of they are moving that top availability to non dealer customer orders making the top inventory more for res holders.

They covered that specifically in the press release today as well.

What a time to be alive! The number of disenfranchised 16 year olds (and alllllll that that implies in terms of emotional stability and understanding) on this forum surprises me every day. Who knew this would be such a hot model for everyone's first car, what with it being a $60,000 rig and all!

Now, now... don't get your knickers all in a twist. This is surely good for some people, but perhaps other people are still concerned because this could serve as confirmation that the top issue hasn't been solved despite the "Ford takes over Webasto" thread. That means MIC delays will continue for the foreseeable future.

Mannequin models are the demo units that Dealerships get to show off. Can't sell them for a certain period (6-7 months) on the lot though.

This is a common sense thing for Ford to do but for a large company I'm a little surprised and impressed that they ARE doing it. Those saying "oh yeah this saves 1000 orders" are probably the same ones saying Ford isn't doing anything to honor their customers.

This tells me that Ford is managing this supply crisis the best they can

No, after FORD is done with the MIC tops Detroit Animal Rescue will be getting them to be converted into winter dog shelters to be strategically placed throughout the city.
