I like em. But wish it was lighter and say $3500
Many clamshell RTTs are $3500+ alone without the extra structural support like a roof rack or cross members.

This allows for standing in the bronco and is a hardtop as well.

while the price is steep, I’d say $5-6k is more fair based on the current market

Maybe I’m crazy, but spending thousands of dollars on a roof top tent just doesn’t do it for me. I’d rather camp on the ground. Is this specifically meant for areas where there are brown bears, or am I missing something…?

I should note that I also camp a lot for my work, and the idea of this is still just… meh.

Way too pricey. Not worth it for me.

Way too spendy and ugly! Did they spray it with V1 rhino liner?

these are really neat for extended trips (and rainy areas), but way more than I'd ever spend. Plus I want nothing on top so I can have that open roof. But for really long expeditions this makes sense IMO. Nice to have access to all your gear w/o having to climb out into the rain, down a ladder, and all that. If I ever planned to drive all around the US or up to Alaska or down South or something like that, I'd give these a serious look though.

I'd rather get some kind of little offroad capable trailer and build that into a kitchen/RTT base camp to pull behind me. Something simple, not like some of the crazy expensive camp trailers you can buy, they are fantastic, but I'd never get enough use out of one, not unless I move to the mountains.

For now I hope to just sleep in my Bronco and bring a little tent along.

I'm gonna go with a regular tent that is tall enough to put the sleeping bag on a cot. My back can't do the ground anymore, but i don't have the funds for a RTT or this, but it's a cool idea.

$7200 would make a nice down payment toward an actual pull behind trailer...

Wow I thought these kinds of things were $3k max. $7500 (plus maybe more with options) is way too damn expensive for what it offers.

So you can stand inside and sleep on top, what about all the gear you bring with you for overlanding/dispersed camping. Do you remove all that from the cargo area and sit it outside so you can stand inside the bronco?
