The brown and white interiors that I've seen look much better than this black interior. A lot of the cool details aren't as apparent with the black.
I agree...I'm hoping I can get the saddle brown/black interior in my cyber orange. If I can. Rubi order is cancelled for sure lol...

Carbonized Gray is on my list of possible colors. I'm looking at the Badland but on the fence whether to stay with the molded-in-color top or spring for the color matched painted one. Really don't know how well that molded in color is going to hold up to the sun. Color is the option I'm most flexible on and would go color matched top with any other.
Bummed trim level need to be WT or FE to get the black painted roof. I am hoping I can change my reservation from BL to WT upon ordering.

But in all curiosity, what is it!?
probably some kind of a kill switch in case something goes wrong. (not that it ever would in a ford, lol)

Would the wires like this really make it into the final design?

The left one is the wiper fluid nozzle. The right is likely the defrost power cord.

How else are they supposed to get those things to a moving panel?

Yeah, based on how my black plastic bumper steps have faded (nearly white now, granted it's 12 years old), I'd prefer a painted top.

This is clearly a Pre-Series vehicle as the untidy rear glass harness and the wrinkles in the seats shouldn’t make it out of the building. Plus the way all the employees are gawking over it is an indication that they haven’t made many yet. So, I’m sure fit and finish will greatly improve.

Serious question I've had since first seeing the interior:
What's the point of having the window/lock switches on the inside of the vehicle? If you take the doors off, you don't need window switches or door locks, anyway. To me, that's space on the middle console that is just wasted when you take the doors off. Seems like it could be utilized better if you just leave the switches on the door panels. Is the weight savings really that much?

I'm guessing yes since my Jeep is basically the same. They will probably detach somewhere along the rear panel so you can remove the roof.
