you're going to get a lot of people on here saying they're in a similar boat to you and a lot of people defending Ford. the biggest letdown was the may thing- we all spent 6 months expecting that we would get an estimated delivery window and they missed that mark. most of us just have to put it out of our heads now. i too would like to sell my car but for me i'm saying that if i don't have any specific info i can't act just yet because it could be 6 months or it could be 14. it is what it is.

They literally just started rolling off the line TODAY. This launch is possibly the most unique and complicated launch of a new vehicle in history, with a heritage lineage so to speak no less. Most of the world is barely creeping towards semi normal, including auto manufacturing plants. Give it a minute!

As a non-FE, non-WT four door order, if you switched to a soft top, you'd probably get picked up very soon. Further more, if you don't need the 7 pin tow connector, and put on the accessory catalog 4 pin and receiver upon delivery, you'd be even more likely.

Soft top is a no-go for me as I will want/need a hard top. If only Ford were adding hard-top wiring to soft-top orders.

As for towing, I tow very little. In what scenarios would I need a 7-pin connector vs 4-pin?

It's not the waiting that's the problem. It's the lack of information around which to plan. If Ford told me "May-July 2022," that would be a bummer but at least I would be able to plan. As it stands now I have no idea how many months I should expect to wait.

I get the lack of coms…but you really can’t force someone to talk to you if they don’t want to or have nothing to tel you….so we wait. Don’t really have a choice in the matter…
