My 2.3L BD will be 17, but my work commute is 4 miles round-trip.

People in this forum say that the fuel economy of a 2.7l with Sas is 17 mpg combined... and the gas price hits $5 per gallon here in California, omg o_O
I don't think I can drive it as a daily driver. Are you guys gonna drive it for daily or just for the weekends?
Most people driving a Bronco must have more disposable income than you.

Gas at costco in the bay area is $3.80, big deal. Imagine worrying about a few nickels when you bought a 40k plus vehicle.
I hope I get rich like you..(y)

Using a fuel cost calculator, if you drive your 17mpg Bronco 20k miles, it will cost you $5882.35.
If you drive your 20mpg Bronco it will save you $73 a month.
Cancel cable tv and drive what you want.

I’ve never focused on MPG on any vehicle I have owned. I buy what I want / like. If I was pinching pennies to that point I would be on a motorcycle. Our semi trucks get 4 mpg btw.

I tend to buy 140hp+ bikes and find myself getting terrible mileage 😆

That's a huge difference. I don't have cable tv, only thing I have is a netflix account hahaha I'm gonna cancel both internet and netflix account as soon as I get the Bronco lol

I drove my 8 MPG V10 Excursion at 4.75/Gal before. Nothing scares me.

My 2.7 SAS Bronco will be the most fuel efficient thing I own.
