Just to compare, let's use the 2 door as an example. From what I understand, the hardtop is 3 pieces. Driver/passenger roof, then the rear cap (rear and side glass + roof.
So does the modular roof break down the rear cap further...? Into separate side glass sections apart from the roof?
I'm gonna assume this would make it a bikini top... All roof, no glass.

This is the same question I have. I want to know on the 2 door, if I can remove just the sides and back and leave the rear top on. How modular is modular?

Regarding the 2 door, from the roof pics I've seen and looking at the seams in the roof, it appears you can leave on the two front panels over the front seats and leave on the panel over the rear seats. Removing the last piece/panel takes off the rear glass along with the small panel that goes over the cargo area. If this is the case you could have a hard roof over the front and rear seats and by removing the side windows have a nice open air experience. Hope this is the case.
P.S. In order to do this you need to order the optional premium painted modular top with four sections that adds a removable panel over the rear seats and cargo area

That is 100% guaranteed false. The rear roof is one piece.
Dude.... You're mistaken.
Take the Badlands for example. It comes standard with a hardtop. Moulded in colour.. Which is removable as you stated. 3 pieces.
Optionally you can have the modular hardtop in body colour or shadow painted, and the rear, side glass is separate from the rear roof. This is what makes it modular.
You can go bikini top... You can go all open air, just the top and rear glass off, etc...

There is a standard hardtop and two optional hard tops

2dr - Removable panels over the driver and passenger with a rear section that can also be removed.

4dr - Removable panels over the driver and passenger, a removable panel over the rear seats and a rear section that can also be removed.
There are two hard tops...

I'd trust @MIguy over TFL ...

There isn't and I know that for a fact. Use your imagination as to how I might know that information.
I'm looking at the ford bronco website right now man...
Did they just decided no more modular top? I have no idea why you would think otherwise. You tell me!

Dude, one hardtop is MIC (molded in color) and the other is painted. Both are identical in how they function.
Lol. There are THREE hardtops listed for the BL, for example.
Only the hardtop is MIC... The 3 piece (2door) as you state.
And 2 painted options for the MODULAR hardtop. Not the "hardtop"

Essentially aesthetics.
Lol.
Then why even list 2 of the hard tops MODULAR and list one as just hardtop??
Why not two paint options for just the standard hardtop?

I'm done responding to you since you're clearly not getting it.
You can just admit that you're wrong...
You state the only difference is the painted or MIC... And yet, the standard top is just hardtop... Modular doesn't have ANYTHING to do with the colour. Lol
