If you run 35s, you don't care about MPG.
If I have to make a long trip and I'm not planning on offroading, I'll be running a set of all seasons. No sense in wearing the big tires and wasting fuel.

Better suspension all around, 35" wheels and tires, lockers, etc...I'll eat a tomato (I hate tomatoes) if it's under $5,000.
The real question is:
Will you eat a Pineapple Pizza if it's under $5k?

The price should be different for the badlands as the gears, front axle, and front locker are already included in the base price.

I'm curious (havent seen it discussed) is the effect on gas mileage for the S-pkg. Putting on heavy 35's and highest final drive ratio is likely to cut MPG's in a meaningful way
35's , 4.70 gear and overdrive tranny sounds pretty close for keeping the motor in the right RPM range. I'd have to look at the OD gear ratios to be sure.
Shoot for 2000rpm at 70 mph.

More importantly, raising the vehicle has a very serious mileage penalty.

IIRC, when I ran the numbers the other day it was about 2400 rpm at 75mph with the auto trans (I was using 0.64 overdrive from the 10r80, I assume the 7 speed will be similar.

Edit: I threw a spreadsheet together real quick, should be approximately 2060 RPM at 70 mph with the auto and the sasquatch package. at 75 it should be 2200.

i just ran them on grimjeepers calculator, 10spd auto, final OD gear is a whopping 0.64 !!!
36% Overdrive !!!!
315/70-17 is 34.36" in diameter , 587 rpm (mile).

As I mentioned, rpm @ 70mph is 2059 ....freaking perfect!

I'd have to imagine it's less on the Badlands as the HOSS w/Bilsteins is standard there. Lower trims only get the HOSS w/ Bilsteins when upgrading to the Squatch.

Thanks for sharing what you heard. 12/7 is at least a target date to keep in mind.

Don’t know I was going with the base model. But I’m hearing you can’t get the manual with the Sasquatch package so now I’m re-thinking things and may go with the black diamond and no Sasquatch package. Put a lift and 35’s on it when lifts start coming out.
I heard Ford will be offering factory lifts, at least until the aftermarket crowd picks up.

He said he had 13 reserves at his dealership and contacted his ford representative saying he need some kind of info to tell people. So that is what he was told.

Just stopped at my dealership and the Owner said he thinks the Sasquatch package is going to be around 3,000 to 3,500 but will let me know as soon as he finds out. Also ordering date starts 12/7/2020 delivery around end of April to beginning of May.
What are they going to require for a deposit when you actual order in December?

This seems odd to me, since the Sasquatch package has locking diffs, and the manuals biggest Marketing gimmick is the lower crawl ratio than the Rubicon.

They won’t allow you to get the crawling package, with the creeper gear in it?
